Hey there folks ^,^; just kinda ended up writing this in an effort to relax so hope you enjoy it.
Anyway this round we have our local insane machinest Jenny going up against a not-so-noble knight in shining armor. Does the power of the future have what it takes to stand against the strength of the past? And which of these two has more marbles missing? Read to find out!

“Ooooooooo! This is a new dream! When do the dancing squirtles show up?”
Jenny giggled innocently as she skipped through the ruins of what was probably a beautiful castle at some time… at the moment it was little more than moss covered ruins of half standing walls and archways, its glory days firmly behind it. Giggling the rotom took stock of herself. She was wearing her favorite dress, jacket, and sneakers… and a duel disk. She looked at the device for a moment, tapping the frowning face symbol on it that she always wore. Ignoring her urge to take it apart she looked around and shouted.
“Okaaaaaaaaaay! I know you’re here! Petie and Rose told me bout these dreams so you can just come on out now pleeeeeeeease!”
“Very well witch, if you want to end your heresy that quickly so be it.”
There was a metallic clanking as an armored figure emerged from behind a ruined wall. It was a tall muscular luxray guy… she though. It was kind of hard to tell since he wore full plate armor that gleamed bright silver in the light. On his arm he carried a large duel disk styled after a shield. He came to a halt about twelve feet from Jenny, electricity crackling over his armor for effect and intimidation… as the teen girl just giggled and swayed back and forth in the air “Soooooooo Mr. big bad knight, what’s your beef with me then? Why do you wanna duel little old me?” she asked innocently and while she couldn’t see his expression behind the helmet she could tell he was annoyed.
“… because you are one in a long line of witches and blasphemers who have sullied this once great world…” he said, growling as he pointed a gauntleted hand at her dramatically “Sullied it with your damnable science! All your horrid creations and supposed progress creates naught but tools for war and pollutes this world! You have destroyed the noble era of knights and kings with your horrid works! While I don’t approve of the methods…” he motioned to the duel disk on his arm “This will FINALLY allow me to strike back at this world of technology and make it pay for its crimes starting with you!!”
“…. Soooo you’re a renaissance fair performer who has a beef with science? What, fail chemistry in high school one too many times?”
“Save your smart tongue witch and prepare to defend yourself!”
“Fiiiiiine, if I gotta… so what should I call you Mr. shining? Cause Lancelot you most certainly aren’t!”
“… Templar…”
“Okay Templar! Lets Duel!”
“Duel!”
Jenny LP: 8000 Templar LP: 8000
“I’ll go first~” Jenny chirped in a sing-song voice before giggling as they both drew their hands “I set one facedown and one monster! Your turn!” she called as the two facedown cards appeared and Templar drew “… I summon Noble Knight Artorigus! Behold a true warrior!” he shouted as a short haired young man appeared wearing stylized, fur lined armor, red pants, and sturdy boots appeared while a sword imbedded in a stone appeared in front of him. With a boisterous cry he yanked the sword out and held it aloft (1800/1800) “And I’ll have him attack your hiding monster! Sword of the once and future king!!” the luxray shouted as Artorigus sprang forward and swung his sword at the facedown monster.
And with a low thunk sound it bounced off as the card turned over to reveal a squat humanoid robot wearing block, cameo print armor with a scope attached over one of its eyes. A tray containing what looked like grenades was strapped to its back. It crouched down in defense mode (1000/2000) “Meet my Genex Ally Crusher!” Jenny chirped happily as Templar took a deep breath to start in on a tirade… only for her to interrupt him “And I play him cause he’s cute and useful so save your speaches~ Anything else?” she asked with a giggle as he growled.
Jenny LP: 8000 Templar LP: 7800
“… since I have a face-up Light normal monster I special summon Noble Knight Gawayn in defense mode.” He spat as another young man, wearing gold colored armor, a short blue cape, and carrying a gleaming sword, appeared and crouched down (1900/500) “And I’ll set one more card, then I’ll end my turn. Your move witch.” He growled again as Jenny pulled her card and smiled “I think the word you want is scientist, or maybe inventor… either way I summon my Genex Ally Powercell!” she cheered as a squat, humanoid, yellow and orange robot appeared. Yellow lightning bolt symbols glowed on its body as the two large plugs on its arms sparked with electricity (1700/0).
“And as long as he’s in play all other monsters with the same attribute as him gain 500 attack points!” she cheered as the electricity jumped from Powercell to Crusher (1500/2000) “And next Crushers power activates! Once per turn when I summon another monster with the same attribute as him I get to destroy one card you control… so I’ll choose your facedown!” the army bot pulled one of the grenades from the tray behind him and threw it, blowing the facedown Justi-Break to oblivion.
“Next… go Alchemy Cycle!” she cheered as her trap lifted and suddenly both her monsters glowed as their attacks were reduced to 0, except for Crusher who still had his 500 point boost “Now if they’re destroyed this turn I get to draw a card!” she chirped as Templar bared his fangs “More damnable arts! You truly are a wicked one witch! And a foolish one for your card will be of no use unless you plan on harming yourself!” he added as Jenny made the mocking “blah blah blah” motions with her hand before giggling “Continuing… I play Machine Duplication! Since my Powercell now has less than 500 attack I can summon up to two duplicates from my deck!”
With a spark of electricity two more Powercells appeared on the field (1700/0) x 2 “And while they can’t power up THEMSELVES… they do gain boosts from each other!” Jenny cheered as the two newly summoned Powercells as well as the weakened one and Crusher all received a power boost (2700/0) (1000/0) (1500/2000) “And now I’ll have one of my fully charged” she paused to giggle at her own joke “Powercell’s attack your Artorigus!” the knight was shattered with one lightning powered punch “Have the weakened one take out Gawayn.” The other knight was shattered as well “And have my remaining one attack you directly!” she cheered as the strike sent Templar skidding backwards.

“I’ll set one card and end my turn!” Jenny chirped eagerly as she looked to Templar, the knights armor sparked threateningly as he drew his card “… I set one monster…” he snarled as a facedown card appeared “And I’ll play Monster Reborn!” he shouted as the spell appeared and Gawayn followed suit, holding his sword aloft as he let out a battle cry (1900/500) while Templar pulled the card he’d just drawn and set it on the duel disk “And lastly I’ll play Noble Arms – Gallatin!” there was a flash of light around Gawayn’s sword for a moment… but it looked the same as his score shot up dramatically (2900/500).
“This can only be equipped to a warrior monster… but thee noble soul holding it gains 1000 attack points! Now slay her mechanical abomination! Brave knights strike!” Templar roared as Gawayn leapt forward and cleaved one of the Powercell’s in half making it shatter as the attack of the rest of Jenny’s monsters took a nosedive (2200/0) x 2 (1500/2000). “And that concedes my turn, do your worst witch.” He said, a smug smile on his face… which fell as he saw how utterly unbothered Jenny was by this turn of events.
Jenny LP: 7800 Templar LP: 4200
“My draw!” she chirped before looking at her hand and pouting softly letting Templar’s smug grin return “What is it witch? No monsters to play?” he asked as she just smiled and said “Nope! Not a one!” making him groan and shake his head. “But I DO have this… I play Machine Assembly Line!” a continuous spell appeared “Now all my machine monsters gain 200 attack points… plus something interesting happens when they’re destroyed!” (2400/0) x 2 (1700/2000) “And I move both my monster to defense position and end my turn!” she added as her two Powercells crouched down like Crusher. Templar just shook his head as he glared at Jenny.
“… disgusting… such disposable creations… made in huge numbers and disposed of just as quickly. Technology is the true death of hard work, artistry, and the virtues of my era! This abominable science is a blight on the earth and must be”
“Oh just shut up already.”
“… excuse me?”
“Science is bad, technology is bad, oh I’m so backwards in the times I might as well try and drag the rest of the world with me.” Jenny said in a mocking imitation of Templar’s tone “What the heck was so great about the middle ages anyway? Ever hear it called the DARK ages? Where life expectancy was low, people were uneducated, and life in general SUCKED for everybody who WASN’T a noble? The feudal system and how bad it is mean anything to you?” she asked as the luxray stuttered and choked in pure indignation at what was being said.
“You… wench!! How DARE you speak so out of turn! You…”
“Oh that’s right, rampant abuse of women too just to top it off… but off that topic and onto the next~” she said, swinging back to her giggling self “The fact technology and science has led to improved medicine, communication, transport, and understanding! Sure people can and have abused it, sure it’s used to make weapons… but that doesn’t change the fact it can and HAS been used to do good in the world and everything I create is made with the hope of making the world a better place!” she declared, striking a heroic pose that probably wouldn’t have been possible if she had an actual skeletal system…
Templar was not amused as he roared in anger “HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO YOUR BETTERS YOU WITCH! PREPARE FOR YOUR DEMISE!!” he snarled as he drew his card… and Gawayn’s attack fell (2700/500) “… Gallatin has a cost… 200 attack from the monster it’s equipped to during every one of my standby phase.” He muttered as his facedown monster flipped and revealed itself to be a blond haired lady wearing red armor and carrying a sword and shield, card suits decorating all of them (1500/1600) “Behold my Queens Knight… and next I summon my Kings Knight!” he slapped another card down as a blond haired and bearded muscular man appeared wearing gleaming golden armor with a crown like helmet and carrying a sword and shield. Like Queen’s Knight card suits decorated his armor and weapons (1600/1400).
“And his effect is when he’s normal summoned while I control Queens Knight I can special summon Jacks Knight from my deck!” Templar shouted as another sword and shield carrying warrior appeared. He was a muscular man with blond hair and dark skin wearing ornate blue and white armor. Once again his armor, shield, and sword had card suits on them (1900/1000) the three card themed knights crossed the swords like the three musketeers as Jenny just tilted her head in confusion “That’s great and all… but they still can’t get through Powercell OR Crusher...”
Templar actually chuckled at that comment as he slipped the card he’d drawn this turn into his disk and The A. Forces appeared as Jenny let out an “Ooooooooo… that’d do it…” of understanding as the attack of all his monsters rose (3500/500) (2300/1600) (2400/1400) (2700/1000) “Now my brave knights, destroy that foul witches horrid army!” he shouted as the three poker knights rush forward and destroyed the remaining robots on Jenny’s field, her Assembly Line glowing with each destruction, before Gawayn stabbed her through the chest with Gallatin making her crumple to the ground in pain as Templar let a smug smile cross his face “And that ends my turn.”
Jenny LP: 4300 Templar LP: 4200
Jenny coughed for a moment before getting back up, rubbing her middle and winced. She pulled her card and chuckled weakly as she saw it before setting it on the field as a new humanoid machine appeared. It had green and silver armor with a full face yellow visor and an odd purple box affixed to its chest. Suction cup like things decorated its body (1200/1800) “Meet my Genex Ally Changer… as for what he can do… I’m not telling~” she said, sticking her tongue out “Least not yet~ Instead I’m playing one of Petie’s favorite cards…” the Swords of Revealing Light slammed down around Templar’s monsters as he growled while Jenny smiled “And that’s all for now~”
Templar pulled his card, looking at it for a moment before setting it and motioning for Jenny to go as she pulled her card and laughed “What are the odds? Anyway I’m gonna use my Assembly Lines second power now… you see it gained two junk counters every time a machine was destroyed, in case you forgot that was three of em so it has six, and if I send it to the graveyard I get to special summon back a machine monster who’s level is equal to or less then the number of counters it had! So welcome back Crusher!” she cheered as the army robot appeared once more (1000/2000).
“Next… I summon one of my favorite monsters! Meet my super fighting robot Genex Ally Duradark!” she cheered as a new, sleeker robot appeared. It stood taller than the other two with a dark grey body lined with blue circuitry like designs and its glowing red full face visor showed an info readout (1800/200)”And since I summoned a monster with the same attribute as it… Crushers effect activates!” she cheered as the robot prepared to lob an explosive at Templar’s side of the field… as his facedown card lifted “I activate Solar Ray! It deals you 600 points of damage for every light monster I control!” Templar shouted as a beam of light shot from the trap and seared Jenny making her scream in pain.
Jenny LP: 1900 Templar LP: 4200
Finally the bomb came flying over though blowing up The A. Forces as all of Templar’s monsters attack points fell (2700/500) (1500/1600) (1600/1400) (1900/1000) while Jenny dusted herself off “Now then… I use my Changers power letting me select one monster on the field and change its attribute until the end phase… so Gawayn becomes Dark now~” she cheered as the knight groaned as his sword and armor became tarnished “Letting me use Duradark’s power! By giving up his attack this round I can destroy a face-up attack position monster with the same attribute as him!” the info display on Duradark’s visor formed crosshairs that lined up on Gawayn as they fired, blowing him to pieces as Templar growled.
“And that’s all I got! Turn end and two more turns under the swords now for you~” she cheered as Templar drew his card. He looked at it then snarled before motioning for Jenny to go as she pulled her card “Okay then, lets do it again!” she cheered as this time Jacks Knight’s armor and weapons turned tarnished as his attribute changed to Dark and just as quickly Duradark blew him to pieces. “And that’s all~” she chirped as Templar drew his card… and just set a monster before motioned for her to go without changing the battle positions of his monsters at all as the Swords finally faded away.
“… uh huh… either you’re really getting bad draws, you’ve given up, or you’re setting up for something…” Jenny said as she pulled her card “And I’m pretty sure it’s the last one… so I’ll summon up my second Duradark!” she cheered as another sleek, dark colored robot appeared “Activating my Crushers power again so I’ll have him take out your facedown monster~” another explosive hurled through the air before blowing up the hidden card which turned out to be a copy of Queens Knight. Jenny grinned and motioned as both her Duradark’s took out Templar’s remaining two monsters making him wince before Changer simply walked up and slugged her sending the armored lion staggering back.
Jenny LP: 1900 Templar LP: 2500
“Your turn now~” she said as Templar pulled his card… and smiled “First… I summon Blade Knight.” he said as a knight covered completely in angular silver armor carrying a sword and shield appeared (1600/1000) as he held up the single card in his hand “And since I have one or less cards in my hand he gains 400 attack points.” Templar said as Blade Knights attack shot up (2000/1000) as the luxray started to chuckle “And next since I have five or more Light monsters in my grave with different names… I can special summon THIS monster from my hand!” he shouted as a sudden burst of light blinded Jenny.
As her vision started to clear she could make out the silhouette of a monster that looked like Phoenix Gearfried… but when she could fully see it she realized it was something for different. For one instead of red and white armor the muscular figure was clad in blue and white plate armor covering almost all of his body… except his face oddly enough. The flames that sprouted from his Phoenix counterpart were replaced by glowing orbs of light but past that he looked more or less the same with a virtually identical sword and shield (2800/2200).
“Meet my Lightray Gearfried!” Templar shouted before laughing madly… which was a drastic enough change in persona even his own monsters were edging away from him a little. Finally he calmed down enough to smile “Now then… both of you attack her Duradark’s! Destroy those mechanical demons with your blades of justice!!” he shouted as both of the monsters leapt forward and slashed straight through both of the robots making them explode and sending Jenny skidding back as she screamed. Templar chuckled wickedly as he watched the girl struggle to stand back up “Now then witch, I believe it’s your turn…”
Jenny LP: 700 Templar LP: 2500
Templar smirked as he watched Jenny draw her card. He’d won this battle and proven the truth that technology was a plague that had to be destroyed to return the world to its true glory. Before the peasantry thought they had the rights that were only deserved of knights, nobles, and kings. If she tried to use a spell or trap card to save herself the witch would find out that Gearfried could negate one spell or trap a turn. Even with her mechanical demon Crusher on the field she was still doomed for if she managed to draw a monster and use its effect to destroy Gearfried he’d still have his Blade Knight… and he had two more Gearfrieds in his deck!
“I play Iron Call!” Jenny shouted, snapping Templar out of his internal monologue “Letting me special summon a level four or lower machine from my graveyard to the field!” the spell card appeared… and was promptly shattered by a sword swing from Gearfried as Templar cracked up again “By removing a light monster from my grave I can negate a spell or trap card as destroy it once per turn!” he cackled as Jenny looked at him for a moment… and then shrugged “Okay, that’s fine. I’ll go with plan B.” Jenny said making Templar stop right in the middle of his insane laughter.
“I summon my Genex Ally Remote!” she called as a robot that looked like a white armored egg with arms and legs appeared, it’s right forearm replaced with an old styled TV remote (500/1800) “And since he’s a dark type my Crusher’s power activates!” a bomb flew through the air destroy Gearfried as Templar shrugged “So? Both your monsters are too weak to touch Blade Knight.” He said as Jenny rolled her eyes and placed a card in her disk “Then I play another Machine Duplication~” two more Remotes appeared, crouching down in defense position.
Templar just laughed out loud as this as he shook his head “Really? That’s what your resorting too? Using them as mere speed bumps against my monster?” he pointed at the standing Remote “All I need to do is attack him next turn and you shall lose witch! It was a good effort but technology has failed you once again. Just lay down and accept your demise gracefully for you have surely”
“Remote is a tuner monster.”
“… what.”
“I tune my level three Remote with my Level four Crusher!” she shouted as the attack position Remote shattered into three rings and flew into the air as Crusher few between them and turned into four stars. With a sudden flash of light a much, much larger machine appeared. It was muscular looking with a sturdily built body colored an off white with blue panels on it. It had a glowing orange visor and two fins off the side of its head and its right arm was a huge, three barreled cannon with tubing connecting it to the robots back. It struck a dramatic pose as it landed (2500/2100).
“Meet my Genex Ally Triforce!” Jenny said proudly “Now usualy he’d get an effect depending on the attribute of the non-tuner monster used to summon him… but since Crusher was Dark and he doesn’t gain any powers from a dark attribute monster that doesn’t matter… now attack his Blade Knight with Tri-Cannon Shot!” she shouted as the robots cannon energized and fired a three colored burst of energy that blew the warrior right to oblivion as Templar snarled furiously at this.
Jenny LP: 700 Templar LP: 2000
“And that’s all for my turn.” She said, having to resist giggling as she saw the sparks dancing across Templar’s armor in sheer fury “How… DARE you…” he snarled “How DARE you sully my perfect victory!” he roared only to choke on his words in rage as he saw Jenny making the mocking “Blah, blah, blah” hand motions again. Making an animalistic sound of fury he drew his card and slapped the monster facedown on the disk as it appeared before motioning for Jenny to take her turn. It was his second copy of Noble Knight Artorigus and while her Triforce could destroy it… he doubted any other monster she had would be able to get through its defense buying him another turn.
“I draw!” Jenny shouted, pulling her card… before giggling “I WONDERED where he was~ Looks like I get to end this with a bang!” she cheer before striking an utterly bizarre pose. Her left arm was thrust straight up with the card held aloft. Bringing her other arm up she grabbed her own wrist and pulled her left arm down in front of her before grinning “Here’s a little tribute to a series I like watching with Rose whenever I get the chance~” she said before shouting into her duel disk “SHOWTIME!”
Suddenly there was an explosion engulfing both of the Genex Ally Remotes and creating a huge fissure behind Jenny as an equally huge robot rose up from it. It was black and silver with a ball shaped main body covered in heavy armor and a tiny head sitting on top of that. It didn’t have legs but thrusters in place of its lower body and on its back kept it aloft. Floating on either side of it were two heavily armored, almost popeye sized forearms with equally huge fists and no actual connection to the main body. A ring of light circled the main body like the ring of a certain planet (2800/2200).
“Cast in the name of god, ye not guilty~ The Big Saturn… ACTION!!” Jenny shouted dramatically before breaking into giggles again “Sorry, just always wanted to say that when I used him… anyway Triforce! Destroy his facedown!” she cheered as the three colored laser blast blew the facedown Noble Knight to pieces as Templar stared in shock and horror “Which leaves just ending this… before I do though I thought you’d like to know a little something~” Jenny said with a sweet smile and giggle as the luxray just jawed at the air in disbelief.
“The world only moves forward, you can’t return to or change the past and to try means sacrificing the future… so press on and do your best to make the future you choose worthwhile!” she cheered before giggling “Oh and I couldn’t afford to lose because I still have too many inventions to test~ Okay, love ya, bye- bye!” she said waving a little as The Big Saturn launched one of its arms at Templar like a missile “Final Impact!” she shouted as the punch hurled the knight back through one of the walls of the ruins.

Jenny giggled and struck another pose as she felt herself waking up “And with that… we have come to terms~”

Jenny yawned as she sat up and rubbed her eyes, the chu-bots around her that’d been using her nap as a chance to try and straighten out the lab panicking and fleeing as she did so. The girl giggled softly as she watched them scatter… she’d have to remind herself to give them all a hug sometime today… thought that’d probably take up a good chunk of what was left of the day. Looking around for a moment she debated continuing her design work on her latest creation “Super Audino T-500” a mechanical nanny designed to handle any baby-care related issues as well as do housework…
But she decided she’d rather go play with her baby brother instead. She whistled the tune of “Weird Science” as she floated up the stairs. Even if you had to work to make the future happen it didn’t mean you couldn’t stop to appreciate the present after all!

It crouched down in defense mode (1000/2000) “Meet my Genex Ally Crusher!” Jenny chirped happily as Templar took a deep breath to start in on a tirade… only for her to interrupt him “And I play him cause he’s cute and useful so save your speaches~ Anything else?” she asked with a giggle as he growled.
Jenny LP: 8000 Templar LP: 7800
“… since I have a face-up Light normal monster I special summon Noble Knight Gawayn in defense mode.” He spat as another young man, wearing gold colored armor, a short blue cape, and carrying a gleaming sword, appeared and crouched down (1900/500) “And I’ll set one more card, then I’ll end my turn. Your move witch.” He growled again as Jenny pulled her card and smiled “I think the word you want is scientist, or maybe inventor… either way I summon my Genex Ally Powercell!” she cheered as a squat, humanoid, yellow and orange robot appeared. Yellow lightning bolt symbols glowed on its body as the two large plugs on its arms sparked with electricity (1700/0).
“And as long as he’s in play all other monsters with the same attribute as him gain 500 attack points!” she cheered as the electricity jumped from Powercell to Crusher (1500/2000) “And next Crushers power activates! Once per turn when I summon another monster with the same attribute as him I get to destroy one card you control… so I’ll choose your facedown!” the army bot pulled one of the grenades from the tray behind him and threw it, blowing the facedown Justi-Break to oblivion.
“Next… go Alchemy Cycle!” she cheered as her trap lifted and suddenly both her monsters glowed as their attacks were reduced to 0, except for Crusher who still had his 500 point boost “Now if they’re destroyed this turn I get to draw a card!” she chirped as Templar bared his fangs “More damnable arts! You truly are a wicked one witch! And a foolish one for your card will be of no use unless you plan on harming yourself!” he added as Jenny made the mocking “blah blah blah” motions with her hand before giggling “Continuing… I play Machine Duplication! Since my Powercell now has less than 500 attack I can summon up to two duplicates from my deck!”
With a spark of electricity two more Powercells appeared on the field (1700/0) x 2 “And while they can’t power up THEMSELVES… they do gain boosts from each other!” Jenny cheered as the two newly summoned Powercells as well as the weakened one and Crusher all received a power boost (2700/0) (1000/0) (1500/2000) “And now I’ll have one of my fully charged” she paused to giggle at her own joke “Powercell’s attack your Artorigus!” the knight was shattered with one lightning powered punch “Have the weakened one take out Gawayn.” The other knight was shattered as well “And have my remaining one attack you directly!” she cheered as the strike sent Templar skidding backwards.
Jenny LP: 8000 Templar LP: 4200
“I’ll set one card and end my turn!” Jenny chirped eagerly as she looked to Templar, the knights armor sparked threateningly as he drew his card “… I set one monster…” he snarled as a facedown card appeared “And I’ll play Monster Reborn!” he shouted as the spell appeared and Gawayn followed suit, holding his sword aloft as he let out a battle cry (1900/500) while Templar pulled the card he’d just drawn and set it on the duel disk “And lastly I’ll play Noble Arms – Gallatin!” there was a flash of light around Gawayn’s sword for a moment… but it looked the same as his score shot up dramatically (2900/500).
“This can only be equipped to a warrior monster… but thee noble soul holding it gains 1000 attack points! Now slay her mechanical abomination! Brave knights strike!” Templar roared as Gawayn leapt forward and cleaved one of the Powercell’s in half making it shatter as the attack of the rest of Jenny’s monsters took a nosedive (2200/0) x 2 (1500/2000). “And that concedes my turn, do your worst witch.” He said, a smug smile on his face… which fell as he saw how utterly unbothered Jenny was by this turn of events.
Jenny LP: 7800 Templar LP: 4200
“My draw!” she chirped before looking at her hand and pouting softly letting Templar’s smug grin return “What is it witch? No monsters to play?” he asked as she just smiled and said “Nope! Not a one!” making him groan and shake his head. “But I DO have this… I play Machine Assembly Line!” a continuous spell appeared “Now all my machine monsters gain 200 attack points… plus something interesting happens when they’re destroyed!” (2400/0) x 2 (1700/2000) “And I move both my monster to defense position and end my turn!” she added as her two Powercells crouched down like Crusher. Templar just shook his head as he glared at Jenny.
“… disgusting… such disposable creations… made in huge numbers and disposed of just as quickly. Technology is the true death of hard work, artistry, and the virtues of my era! This abominable science is a blight on the earth and must be”
“Oh just shut up already.”
“… excuse me?”
“Science is bad, technology is bad, oh I’m so backwards in the times I might as well try and drag the rest of the world with me.” Jenny said in a mocking imitation of Templar’s tone “What the heck was so great about the middle ages anyway? Ever hear it called the DARK ages? Where life expectancy was low, people were uneducated, and life in general SUCKED for everybody who WASN’T a noble? The feudal system and how bad it is mean anything to you?” she asked as the luxray stuttered and choked in pure indignation at what was being said.
“You… wench!! How DARE you speak so out of turn! You…”
“Oh that’s right, rampant abuse of women too just to top it off… but off that topic and onto the next~” she said, swinging back to her giggling self “The fact technology and science has led to improved medicine, communication, transport, and understanding! Sure people can and have abused it, sure it’s used to make weapons… but that doesn’t change the fact it can and HAS been used to do good in the world and everything I create is made with the hope of making the world a better place!” she declared, striking a heroic pose that probably wouldn’t have been possible if she had an actual skeletal system…
Templar was not amused as he roared in anger “HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO YOUR BETTERS YOU WITCH! PREPARE FOR YOUR DEMISE!!” he snarled as he drew his card… and Gawayn’s attack fell (2700/500) “… Gallatin has a cost… 200 attack from the monster it’s equipped to during every one of my standby phase.” He muttered as his facedown monster flipped and revealed itself to be a blond haired lady wearing red armor and carrying a sword and shield, card suits decorating all of them (1500/1600) “Behold my Queens Knight… and next I summon my Kings Knight!” he slapped another card down as a blond haired and bearded muscular man appeared wearing gleaming golden armor with a crown like helmet and carrying a sword and shield. Like Queen’s Knight card suits decorated his armor and weapons (1600/1400).
“And his effect is when he’s normal summoned while I control Queens Knight I can special summon Jacks Knight from my deck!” Templar shouted as another sword and shield carrying warrior appeared. He was a muscular man with blond hair and dark skin wearing ornate blue and white armor. Once again his armor, shield, and sword had card suits on them (1900/1000) the three card themed knights crossed the swords like the three musketeers as Jenny just tilted her head in confusion “That’s great and all… but they still can’t get through Powercell OR Crusher...”
Templar actually chuckled at that comment as he slipped the card he’d drawn this turn into his disk and The A. Forces appeared as Jenny let out an “Ooooooooo… that’d do it…” of understanding as the attack of all his monsters rose (3500/500) (2300/1600) (2400/1400) (2700/1000) “Now my brave knights, destroy that foul witches horrid army!” he shouted as the three poker knights rush forward and destroyed the remaining robots on Jenny’s field, her Assembly Line glowing with each destruction, before Gawayn stabbed her through the chest with Gallatin making her crumple to the ground in pain as Templar let a smug smile cross his face “And that ends my turn.”
Jenny LP: 4300 Templar LP: 4200
Jenny coughed for a moment before getting back up, rubbing her middle and winced. She pulled her card and chuckled weakly as she saw it before setting it on the field as a new humanoid machine appeared. It had green and silver armor with a full face yellow visor and an odd purple box affixed to its chest. Suction cup like things decorated its body (1200/1800) “Meet my Genex Ally Changer… as for what he can do… I’m not telling~” she said, sticking her tongue out “Least not yet~ Instead I’m playing one of Petie’s favorite cards…” the Swords of Revealing Light slammed down around Templar’s monsters as he growled while Jenny smiled “And that’s all for now~”
Templar pulled his card, looking at it for a moment before setting it and motioning for Jenny to go as she pulled her card and laughed “What are the odds? Anyway I’m gonna use my Assembly Lines second power now… you see it gained two junk counters every time a machine was destroyed, in case you forgot that was three of em so it has six, and if I send it to the graveyard I get to special summon back a machine monster who’s level is equal to or less then the number of counters it had! So welcome back Crusher!” she cheered as the army robot appeared once more (1000/2000).
“Next… I summon one of my favorite monsters! Meet my super fighting robot Genex Ally Duradark!” she cheered as a new, sleeker robot appeared. It stood taller than the other two with a dark grey body lined with blue circuitry like designs and its glowing red full face visor showed an info readout (1800/200)”And since I summoned a monster with the same attribute as it… Crushers effect activates!” she cheered as the robot prepared to lob an explosive at Templar’s side of the field… as his facedown card lifted “I activate Solar Ray! It deals you 600 points of damage for every light monster I control!” Templar shouted as a beam of light shot from the trap and seared Jenny making her scream in pain.
Jenny LP: 1900 Templar LP: 4200
Finally the bomb came flying over though blowing up The A. Forces as all of Templar’s monsters attack points fell (2700/500) (1500/1600) (1600/1400) (1900/1000) while Jenny dusted herself off “Now then… I use my Changers power letting me select one monster on the field and change its attribute until the end phase… so Gawayn becomes Dark now~” she cheered as the knight groaned as his sword and armor became tarnished “Letting me use Duradark’s power! By giving up his attack this round I can destroy a face-up attack position monster with the same attribute as him!” the info display on Duradark’s visor formed crosshairs that lined up on Gawayn as they fired, blowing him to pieces as Templar growled.
“And that’s all I got! Turn end and two more turns under the swords now for you~” she cheered as Templar drew his card. He looked at it then snarled before motioning for Jenny to go as she pulled her card “Okay then, lets do it again!” she cheered as this time Jacks Knight’s armor and weapons turned tarnished as his attribute changed to Dark and just as quickly Duradark blew him to pieces. “And that’s all~” she chirped as Templar drew his card… and just set a monster before motioned for her to go without changing the battle positions of his monsters at all as the Swords finally faded away.
“… uh huh… either you’re really getting bad draws, you’ve given up, or you’re setting up for something…” Jenny said as she pulled her card “And I’m pretty sure it’s the last one… so I’ll summon up my second Duradark!” she cheered as another sleek, dark colored robot appeared “Activating my Crushers power again so I’ll have him take out your facedown monster~” another explosive hurled through the air before blowing up the hidden card which turned out to be a copy of Queens Knight. Jenny grinned and motioned as both her Duradark’s took out Templar’s remaining two monsters making him wince before Changer simply walked up and slugged her sending the armored lion staggering back.
Jenny LP: 1900 Templar LP: 2500
“Your turn now~” she said as Templar pulled his card… and smiled “First… I summon Blade Knight.” he said as a knight covered completely in angular silver armor carrying a sword and shield appeared (1600/1000) as he held up the single card in his hand “And since I have one or less cards in my hand he gains 400 attack points.” Templar said as Blade Knights attack shot up (2000/1000) as the luxray started to chuckle “And next since I have five or more Light monsters in my grave with different names… I can special summon THIS monster from my hand!” he shouted as a sudden burst of light blinded Jenny.
As her vision started to clear she could make out the silhouette of a monster that looked like Phoenix Gearfried… but when she could fully see it she realized it was something for different. For one instead of red and white armor the muscular figure was clad in blue and white plate armor covering almost all of his body… except his face oddly enough. The flames that sprouted from his Phoenix counterpart were replaced by glowing orbs of light but past that he looked more or less the same with a virtually identical sword and shield (2800/2200).
“Meet my Lightray Gearfried!” Templar shouted before laughing madly… which was a drastic enough change in persona even his own monsters were edging away from him a little. Finally he calmed down enough to smile “Now then… both of you attack her Duradark’s! Destroy those mechanical demons with your blades of justice!!” he shouted as both of the monsters leapt forward and slashed straight through both of the robots making them explode and sending Jenny skidding back as she screamed. Templar chuckled wickedly as he watched the girl struggle to stand back up “Now then witch, I believe it’s your turn…”
Jenny LP: 700 Templar LP: 2500
Templar smirked as he watched Jenny draw her card. He’d won this battle and proven the truth that technology was a plague that had to be destroyed to return the world to its true glory. Before the peasantry thought they had the rights that were only deserved of knights, nobles, and kings. If she tried to use a spell or trap card to save herself the witch would find out that Gearfried could negate one spell or trap a turn. Even with her mechanical demon Crusher on the field she was still doomed for if she managed to draw a monster and use its effect to destroy Gearfried he’d still have his Blade Knight… and he had two more Gearfrieds in his deck!
“I play Iron Call!” Jenny shouted, snapping Templar out of his internal monologue “Letting me special summon a level four or lower machine from my graveyard to the field!” the spell card appeared… and was promptly shattered by a sword swing from Gearfried as Templar cracked up again “By removing a light monster from my grave I can negate a spell or trap card as destroy it once per turn!” he cackled as Jenny looked at him for a moment… and then shrugged “Okay, that’s fine. I’ll go with plan B.” Jenny said making Templar stop right in the middle of his insane laughter.
“I summon my Genex Ally Remote!” she called as a robot that looked like a white armored egg with arms and legs appeared, it’s right forearm replaced with an old styled TV remote (500/1800) “And since he’s a dark type my Crusher’s power activates!” a bomb flew through the air destroy Gearfried as Templar shrugged “So? Both your monsters are too weak to touch Blade Knight.” He said as Jenny rolled her eyes and placed a card in her disk “Then I play another Machine Duplication~” two more Remotes appeared, crouching down in defense position.
Templar just laughed out loud as this as he shook his head “Really? That’s what your resorting too? Using them as mere speed bumps against my monster?” he pointed at the standing Remote “All I need to do is attack him next turn and you shall lose witch! It was a good effort but technology has failed you once again. Just lay down and accept your demise gracefully for you have surely”
“Remote is a tuner monster.”
“… what.”
“I tune my level three Remote with my Level four Crusher!” she shouted as the attack position Remote shattered into three rings and flew into the air as Crusher few between them and turned into four stars. With a sudden flash of light a much, much larger machine appeared. It was muscular looking with a sturdily built body colored an off white with blue panels on it. It had a glowing orange visor and two fins off the side of its head and its right arm was a huge, three barreled cannon with tubing connecting it to the robots back. It struck a dramatic pose as it landed (2500/2100).
“Meet my Genex Ally Triforce!” Jenny said proudly “Now usualy he’d get an effect depending on the attribute of the non-tuner monster used to summon him… but since Crusher was Dark and he doesn’t gain any powers from a dark attribute monster that doesn’t matter… now attack his Blade Knight with Tri-Cannon Shot!” she shouted as the robots cannon energized and fired a three colored burst of energy that blew the warrior right to oblivion as Templar snarled furiously at this.
Jenny LP: 700 Templar LP: 2000
“And that’s all for my turn.” She said, having to resist giggling as she saw the sparks dancing across Templar’s armor in sheer fury “How… DARE you…” he snarled “How DARE you sully my perfect victory!” he roared only to choke on his words in rage as he saw Jenny making the mocking “Blah, blah, blah” hand motions again. Making an animalistic sound of fury he drew his card and slapped the monster facedown on the disk as it appeared before motioning for Jenny to take her turn. It was his second copy of Noble Knight Artorigus and while her Triforce could destroy it… he doubted any other monster she had would be able to get through its defense buying him another turn.
“I draw!” Jenny shouted, pulling her card… before giggling “I WONDERED where he was~ Looks like I get to end this with a bang!” she cheer before striking an utterly bizarre pose. Her left arm was thrust straight up with the card held aloft. Bringing her other arm up she grabbed her own wrist and pulled her left arm down in front of her before grinning “Here’s a little tribute to a series I like watching with Rose whenever I get the chance~” she said before shouting into her duel disk “SHOWTIME!”
Suddenly there was an explosion engulfing both of the Genex Ally Remotes and creating a huge fissure behind Jenny as an equally huge robot rose up from it. It was black and silver with a ball shaped main body covered in heavy armor and a tiny head sitting on top of that. It didn’t have legs but thrusters in place of its lower body and on its back kept it aloft. Floating on either side of it were two heavily armored, almost popeye sized forearms with equally huge fists and no actual connection to the main body. A ring of light circled the main body like the ring of a certain planet (2800/2200).
“Cast in the name of god, ye not guilty~ The Big Saturn… ACTION!!” Jenny shouted dramatically before breaking into giggles again “Sorry, just always wanted to say that when I used him… anyway Triforce! Destroy his facedown!” she cheered as the three colored laser blast blew the facedown Noble Knight to pieces as Templar stared in shock and horror “Which leaves just ending this… before I do though I thought you’d like to know a little something~” Jenny said with a sweet smile and giggle as the luxray just jawed at the air in disbelief.
“The world only moves forward, you can’t return to or change the past and to try means sacrificing the future… so press on and do your best to make the future you choose worthwhile!” she cheered before giggling “Oh and I couldn’t afford to lose because I still have too many inventions to test~ Okay, love ya, bye- bye!” she said waving a little as The Big Saturn launched one of its arms at Templar like a missile “Final Impact!” she shouted as the punch hurled the knight back through one of the walls of the ruins.

Jenny giggled and struck another pose as she felt herself waking up “And with that… we have come to terms~”

Jenny yawned as she sat up and rubbed her eyes, the chu-bots around her that’d been using her nap as a chance to try and straighten out the lab panicking and fleeing as she did so. The girl giggled softly as she watched them scatter… she’d have to remind herself to give them all a hug sometime today… thought that’d probably take up a good chunk of what was left of the day. Looking around for a moment she debated continuing her design work on her latest creation “Super Audino T-500” a mechanical nanny designed to handle any baby-care related issues as well as do housework…
But she decided she’d rather go play with her baby brother instead. She whistled the tune of “Weird Science” as she floated up the stairs. Even if you had to work to make the future happen it didn’t mean you couldn’t stop to appreciate the present after all!
