Glad you think so, I was a bit of afraid about over doing it and such with the texture and colours that shouldn't blend in with beige/orange.

Very nice! I love the small details like the shadow in the background, the lip ring. The curls are cute. Portraits aren't as easy as one would think.

Sketching a portrait takes about 5 minutes sometime less, inking 5 to 15 minutes (depending on the character) during which I change the desing quite a lot...colouring with traditional media takes normally 15-20 minutes and digital media is all about what I know I want in the pic in advance...thinking about that usually takes most of the time ^^'

But yeah, it ain't exactly easy...
And I'm really glad to hear that those curls look like curls...last time I tried drawing such was maybe two years ago and this is the second or third time ^^'
