In Russia gays are associated with light-blue colour, only when I joined furry fandom I learnt that in America they are associated with rainbow... Hm, I wonder why it is so.

also here in the US association with the color "hot pink"

of course when mixed together hot pink and baby blue are awesome colors of the 1980s :B

I did not know that about Russia and Blue... Kinda neat, my favorite color is blue =P

Rainbows are supposed to be a general symbol of pride. No thanks to the gay pride movement I would never look at a rainbow the same way again. Only kidding ^^

No, just wearing light-blue isn't enough to call you a fag... You see gays in Russia are called blues, I mean if in English you call them "gay", "faggot" and so on, in Russia one of the means is to call "blue" ("goluboy").
