It was kind of a fun design challenge to turn a dead leaf mantis into an anthro. Because it would be difficult for him to move around or wear clothes, I only kept the leaf crest on the neck potion and nixed it on his torso.
Also, something about this particular species just makes me think of a scruffy woodsman, thus his hair is rather messy.
