I've been waiting for a decent color to come out for them... but I just haven't seen anything better than the green.

Its just the Mullet that turns me off...
They used to look all sneaky and thin and cute.. but somehow they aquired a gimp hand, a big potbelly, a shorter neck, and a mullet instead of their "Mohawk".
But despite that, I got one anyways, because I can always drew it better. xD

I HAD three pet rats...but...long story I wish not to tell.

And mohawk! Yay! Mullets....eeewweeee. Maybe I can have some rats again someday, and maybe someday, when the art is updated again, like neopets is always doing, it'll look cute again, but until then, you can make it look however you want, so thats good at least.

I had an albino rat named Max once...
But then my dad was putting up wall and painting and stuff, and would let me put Max downstairs.. so he inhailed all the sawdust and toxins.. :(

Awwr....at least my three babies found a good home...but as soon as I find a place of my own out of the boyfriends parents house, with the boy of course, I'm getting me some more babies. They will be mine forevers! At least for a few years...

My rat didn't like me because I got him when he was already a year or so old.
His fur was already yellowing.

I am really thinking about getting another rat, but a baby one. That way it can grow up to like me. ^_____^

The only problem is.. I have a kitty.

I had two kitties at my moms house when I got the ratties. Well, the first two anyway. They were only about two months old when I got the first two, and the third was about five months when I got her, but a sister of the first...so they got along...decent I suppose. Not at first though, I almost had to cage the third separate. But I blabber on...sorry~ But yes, if you can keep the rat away from kitty...my cats were afraid of the rats, they were such such wimpy kitties. But I loved them anyway. But there were never any problems with the cat and rats. But if you can keep them separate, and have the rattie young when you get him or her, then yay for you! I love ratties.
