as for the cut/paste...
I will be posting the same comment for each poem, so that those that have not read any others still get the benefit of the comment. So here it is:
I don't claim to be a poet. But I figure if I can't post artwork (cause, even though I do have some to post, its either a)not anthro b)good, but not enough to get me to post on this site cause I am intimidated, or c)can't get my husband to show me how to use the scanner, and get it to the laptop that shares some files with our main computer (I'm not technically minded).
In any case, again, I figure I can at least post poems, of which I do have, can type, etc...
Since most people do not wish to click on "download" to read someone's stuff, I will also be typing it here, in the description, to give quicker, not need to download, access. They're all pretty short poems anyway, so it's cool.
No Mistake
I long to hear your voice tonight,
Yet it was not that long ago I heard it last.
My body longs to feel your touch,
But we have not been deprived of each other lately.
My nose catches your scent at every turn,
Yet you are nowhere to be found.
My mind races with thoughts of the future,
A future that seems it will never come.
Fate it seems has planned this to be
For no mistake could cause these things.
My entire being has been made to draw me to you
And nothing short of death could make it otherwise,
and maybe then some.
Oh well.

wow, thanks...really. I wasn't even aware anyone was reading them, let alone at this hour. I guess I'm not the only late nighter.
I am posting almost all my poetry, from recent to way past. I'm really glad someone out there reads this stuff...though I'm guessing it was the catchy pic that drew you in.That's the hook, getting a good pic for the thumbnail to draw people in. Then, as long as you post the poem in the comment area, people will read it. If they have to click "download", you've lost them.

I just read it because I thought it might be good...I do that sometimes...accidentally click on something and then go..."Whoah, this stuff's good!"
Imagine my delight in finding the furry fandom some time ago...a bit of a shock, certainly, at times unpleasant, but overall, I loves it.
