This is Gertrude "Gertie" Bloodaxe, wife of Professor Johnathan Bloodaxe (engineering dept.), and her job involves putting the hurt on people in one manner or another. She's loosely based on Beth "Mrs. Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman.
If you yelled "For the Horde!" at her she would not have the faintest idea what you were talking about.

Around these parts, orcs aren't the rapin', pillagin', and disrespectin' sort. Instead, they, y'know. Actually have culture based on what country they come from.
Amusingly enough, out of all the races we've got bopping around in our imaginary land? Humans are generally the most evil bastards around. This isn't some kind of anvilicious statement about society: they just tends toward small-minded dickery. Plus, they get the metaphorical bonus to charisma.
A setting where humans aren't Johnny Average? What madness is this?!

Yeah, I'm still not terribly confident with my tablet yet (practice like this is helping); I'm a lot more likely to skimp on things like sketching out where the various features of the face go when I work digitally, partially because linework with a stylus is frustrating, partially because I have a habit of just drawing directly with ink onto paper without pencilling first (this for sketching only; anything serious gets graphite).
A problem I'm going to have to deal with with our style of orcs is that their eyes are smaller and more widely-spaced than average for humans, similar to an ape's. Also, they've got tusks, but not on the huge honkin' Warfoobar level, so I'll probably have to deal with the spectre of ORC RAEP. Pfah. Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us, Mookie.
Her face is also hella flat since I've got a very wonky style when it comes to details; this is not so much a WAAAH IT'S MAH STYYYLE thing as acknowledging the fact that without any color or additional shading to give her depth, she's just kind of there.
I appreciate the commentary! Only way I'm gonna get better is to keep looking for ways to improve and then try and DO them.
