I was visiting a friend of mine at his home, he's been looking a bit down as of late, he seemed to be homesick which is understandable considering he's the only one of his kind in the area. I told him that I wished that I could help him, which caused him to light up a bit.

We had spent the day hanging out together, but as it began to get late he insisted that I ate a candy as he handed it to me. There was only one and it was unlike any candy I had ever seen before, but it did taste amazing!

Cale was watching over my shoulder as I lied down on the couch, he seemed solely focused on me finishing the piece of candy, how strange...
