Here's my current tapestry project. It's longstitch of two frogs.

Who knows how long it'll take me to finish it, but I intend to give it as a gift to my highschool year advisor (I'm in university currently). She adores frogs.

It's been a while since I've started a new piece (I've been working on old ones up until now as these are very time consuming) and I'd forgotten how stiff new canvases are, though this one is finally beginning to do what I want it to ;P. The point is that it was rather difficult to get the frame on and so I found another use for my extremely heavy university textbooks.

You need frame with longstitch, unless you are very good at tensioning the thread. I'm not, so this prevents my canvas from geting scrunched up.

As to size, I think it's about 30cm in diameter. I haven't actually measured it.
