He was hosting ten dollar commissions for feral art, and since I have long wanted to see how Baroness and Chieftain (my and Exilo’s feral forms) done, this seemed like a good chance.

Since all my characters have long hair, I wanted Baroness to be the same, but the question was, how to incorporate that? I had the idea of giving her something of a mane of hair running down her back. I figured the thicker fur on her back might aid in protection when she is fighting rivals. It’s something that I really like.

I asked artist if he might extend her fur longer, to the base of her tail bone. If he does it, and I like the design, I might swap the pictures out.

Baroness is eight feet in length, with the tail accounting for a quarter of her overall length. That means, if she were somehow able to stand on her rear legs, she’d be about six feet. Big, big girl. One of my larger characters, actually. She’s so cuddly.
