The Cutie Mark Crusaders- Yay!
I'm FINALLY finished! Sweetie Belle took me most of the day to complete. Her mane and tail were hard to figure out with all those curls. But they're all done and headed out to Mephit Fur Meet tomorrow!
If you're interested in taking one of these girls home with you, come see me at the Studio Neko-Neko table #4 in the dealer's room!
All details are machine-stitched appliques, NOT EMBROIDERY! Each color is cut out separately and attached through an appliqued satin stitch. Made entirely by me. Each of the Crusaders is approx. 12 inches from hooves to the top of her mane.
Thanks for looking!

Those are super cute! =D
I must ask, what did you use for the eyes exactly? That is the hardest part for me to figure out as to what to use and what method would be best. I've been told vinyl and I've been thinking of using pleather since that will be easier to sew and stand out on the fabric I have.
I want to make a rainbow dash plushie for my boyfriend. I found a pattern that should be pretty simple for me to use. But for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out which is the best way to do the eyes and cutie marks! >x<

The eyes are applique'd fabric. I would not use things like vinyl or pleather because they are not going to sew on well and the needle will leave permanent holes. Try a fabric with some stretch. Fleece works well and comes in all the colors you need. Cotton/muslin works well too but you'll need to put some fray-check on it to keep it from unraveling.
