Alright, so this is Nathaniel Watts, Thomas's plague doctor who is more like a child trapped in a man's body.he is a very eccentric man with a true passion for helping those who need him.
He is easily the most comedic character and a nice relief to the dark-ish storyline.
Fun fact! Most plague doctors were random people selected from different towns to help the sick without the slightest idea what they were doing, since the people figured they'd die trying, anyways. but Nathaniel is a bit different. Yes, he was chosen at random and yes, he comes from somewhere outside of Italy (England), but he takes pride in what he does, despite the negative attention it brings him, and strives to make a difference.
The only touch of sanity they have in a crazy world may be a little bit insane, himself ;p
