A close up of the s-shaped cross guard and the three fullers in the blade. Despite hollywood BS they ARE NOT BLOOD GROOVES. Fullers are used in swords, knives, etc as a reinforcement of sorts allowing the blade to flex a bit, its just BS that the fullers allow oxygen to enter the body and cause more blood to flow out during the process of having been stabbed.
