Okay, because I'm a huge nerdo I'm posting pics of my husband and I's Dragon-Con steampunky costumes. These were kinda thrown together in a month's time (cuz we're laaaaazy and waited till the last minute to start on them), so they need more work. I'm kinda sad that the kitchen lights washed out my clevage. I promise, my boobs are bigger than they look in that pic :O It's hard to see, but my hair is a nice medium-dark purple. Fresh coat of paint for the con :D You'll also notice I'm short and fat. So if you're at Dragon-Con, look for a short fat girl with purple hair :3 That might be me... And I'll be accompanied by a stocky scowly red-head. My hubby 
holzer actually looks quite dapper in his costume, I think. I'll try to get better pics of his steam glove. He's put a lot of work into it and it came out awesome :D He's gonna get those chops tamed tomorrow when he gets a haircut. We're only going to be wearing these for half a day or so, not the whole con. The rest of the time we'll be wearing shorts and nerdy t-shirts. Oh, and my husband will be wearing his kilt at least one day :D KILT! <3

Yeah, I've been told to prepare for aaaaaaall the STUUUUUUUFF! D: I've been to a pretty good sized con (PAX East earlier this year), so at least I know I can handle myself in large crowds. But I know I'm going to be overwhelmed by all the OOOOOH SHINY I WANT TO BUY! :D Good thing I saved up my money dollars.
I think I'll be good on the claustrophobia bit. Thank GOD! Plus, I'll have my hubby to help if I have any kind of anxiety attack (not uncommon for me). And I'm really hoping I'll see enough badass costumes to inspire me to be less of a lazy ass and put more effort into making mine awesome XD I HAVE EVERY CONFIDENCE THIS WILL HAPPEN!!
