Backstory: When Arijana and her friends Baako, Nomusa, and Nia left their pride to start their own pride in a new land, they made their way to the borders of the Pridelands. Along the way, Arijana mated with a rogue male that was wandering near their camp when she went into heat. Two months later, she gave birth to Ni her son.

Backstory: Tafiri was born shortly after Kiara's birth. She was then taught by her father Zazu and Rafiki to become the next majordomo in Simba's pride, but fate had other plans for the little bird. She had wandered one day past a part of the Gorge until she saw Mheetu. Recognizing her old friend, she dropped in for a visit. He told her what had happened as of lately: Leaving on her own to found a new pride and finding four new lionesses. She then asked if she could be his majordomo.
