''Blablabla... my ass can hold a 12 inch cock :P'' And I don't need 32 GB Jesus wtf am I supposed to carry arround that is that huge? <w>; For thoose Word files for school I can carry arround on floppies and don't have to worry about my USB to get stolen. And if I do have something bigger I use a USB that has 2GB o:
So anyway how's school? Mine's good, better than last year for now :D And on the marimba I'm playin Ney Rosauro's stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thOFMdWcvmM And with the percussion ensemble we're playing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA59bOugj5A (I play timpani here)
University's been great. Turns out Semester 1 they're quite light on workloads because everyone's coming from all sorts of different Highscool Backgrounds and their primary focus is to make sure everyone's on the same page with the course (I never learnt Matrixes or Imaginary Numbers in Maths, for example)
So I've actually mostly had a comfortable level of free time: Not so much (like for the last year before I got to Uni) that it drove me stir crazy with boredom, and not so little that I was driven stir-crazy with overwork (like I was in my last 2 years of highschool)
The course and material has been alright. I'm keeping up with it, but of course now my knowledge is becoming more and more specialised to me being an engineer (things like Solid Mechanics, Material Properties and Manufacturing, etc). Plus I don't have to deal with English Classes anymore (I find analysis of literature just sucks the joy out of the material completely)
However, most notably I've been taking French Classes. Believe it or not this has been more challenging for me than any of my Engineering or Maths classes.
However, the thing I love most about being at Uni is the independence. I can choose to do things, I can buy my own groceries, pick what time I can wake up, choose to go down into town, what I want to eat...it's a great feeling

French is more challenging than engineering or maths... you don't fucking say... xDD Oui, françois est trés difficile. And of all teh subjects I've had in my life so far (yeah okay, I'm only in my second year at highschool but still) it's the most difficult subject out of all for me as well =_= Russian language classes are fucking easy in comparison X_x They don't even have a 'being' verb they just say ''I TOVA.'' when they introduce themselves xD And once you get the cyrillic done your practicly finished (well I guess I'm at an advantage with Slovenian being my mother language and also knowing a bunch of words from Serbian... u pičku materinu! :D Still the way we Slovenians complicate with our language sometimes is ADMIRABLE.)
Well my life is shit right now, with doing the musical highschool of percussion next to the already difficult highschool program of Kajuh's school, I get barely any freetime at all plus my grades should be better too x-x I mean musical highschool is a pain in the ass you got two hours a week of percussion lessons (and you have to practice of course), 2 hours a week of Solfeggio (musical theory class that is boring... as... fuck... 5 people have fallen asleep during the lesson (officialy) U: ) half an hour a week of piano lessons... then you gotta practice all this stuff... dude I don't have a 50 000€ Marimba at home! D:< Or a Vibraphone, or an Xylophone, or Timpani.... or even a Piano! (my neighbour has a Russian one but it0s really old and hasn't been tuned in like 13 years and it sounds preety... horrid if you practice on it) so then I have to spend like 3 hours a day at the school to practice all this stuff and then I gotta get home too! Not much time left for studying or even doing fucking homework =.=

Actually, as a native English speaker french is pretty easy to learn. English is actually heavily derived from French so it's just a matter of learning the vocabluary unique grammar rules of French. I can actually make a pretty good guess at what a sentence in French means because so many words in English are derived from it. It's just that I've never learnt a language from scratch before (I've always spoken Malay and English) so this form of learning is completely new to me.
For you, being a native Slovene speaker French would be harder because there's very little similarity between Slovene and French. Slovene is a "South Slavic" Language and French is a "Romance" Language (these are the language groups). While English is a "Germanic" Language and thus German is the closest language to it, there is heavy "Romance" influence from French, which is what makes French relatively easy to learn.
Russian would be easy for you for the same reason French or German would be easy for me. Russian is a "Slavic" Language so there's a lot of similarity between Slovene and Russian.
Eeek, are you in your last couple of years of highschool?

Yeah okay the words are easy to remember but ARGH THE FUCKING GRAMMATICS... I allready had trouble learning the english writting rules!! (I still do =_=) ... my native language does not fuck that up Slovenian is just really fucking easy to write and I think it's convenient (the only teouble is commas oh god how I hate commas, theres a million rules for them in Slovenian D;) And yes this is the first time I'm learning a language in school either as I slept through about 5 years of english and two years of german becouse I already spoke it xD
Well yes and no P: First of all Slovenians are sometimes quicker at learning the pronountiation of other languages than let's say native english speakers... then something I have to say is that we are simply used to studying foregein languages not like my cousin's ex who was from GB and she studied her first foregein language at 21 and was SOO proud of herself and I was like *rolls eyes* >>
Last couple, yeah I've got this year and two more left.... OH THE HUMANITY
OH: Btw! Savinja might flood! School got canceled today 3 hours early cuz there's floods all over Slovenia :D I guess my country is an interesting one since weather is so different even at short distances... like me and a friend who live in the near rural parts of Celje just came in like short sleevs while a schoolmate from Planina pri Senvici came in like two pullovers and a skiing coat and with snow left on the coat xDD We were like making fun of him all day they have a meter of snow and didn't have electricity for 3 days haha Jurnal: day 1, still snow outside, we cannot leave hour home, there is plenty of firewood left. Day 2, we ran out of food, brother wants to commit suicide becouse he has to acess to facebook. Day 3, I ate the cat.''

Yeah, English is a particularly complex language because there are exceptions to all the rules left, right and centre. And because of the influence of French and German the spelling is often not as how it would sound. Then you throw in differences between American and British spelling and things get crazy
Eeek, and I thought Britain had it bad
