Among the numerous stories floating in my head that may languish or may become something more is a tale about Three ending up in a world that doesn't have sentient life (at least not on the land where she lives) and takes in a small dragon as a companion to keep her sane. She rears it from a little drake to a full sized dragon over the course of a century or so.

The dragon isn't sentient although becomes more intelligent as it grows. So it's role changes from helpless pet to helpful companion as the years go by.

It's just a cute little fluffy story since a lot of what I write is rather dark. But we'll see if it actually decides to finish itself sometime.
