So I decided upon myself to try one of the many 30 day challenges. As I want to get back into a steady workflow (and can possibly help build some ideas).
The mission's pretty simple: Just [try] to draw one picture per day for the next 30 days. It doesn't matter the subject matter or characters involved. Just try to make the next image distinct from the previous ones. Bonus points for stepping out of your confort zone.
So these two "sisters" are Enko (the boa) and Lulu (mongoose) are supposed to be part of the supporting cast for the [taking forever and a day to get started] Ballad of Adi O. Of course, they're not blood siblings. Enko was more or less adopted into Lulu's family.
And such an "original" premise, right? A snake living with a family of mongooses. Surely no one else has thought of that before? :V

Well, the premise may be a classic fish-out-of-water sort of trope, but the participants ARE unique, far as I know, DT. Besides, even if (some) mongooses are famous for being snake-killers, that's hardly the ONLY thing they eat.
And snakes can be really fun protagonists, too, when they are playing against type. Look at Viper from the Kung Fu Panda series - she's most definitely a snake, but she's the nicest of the Furious Five.

Good luck on your challenge! May those thirty days be filled with glorious masterpieces. And at least those mongeese let that snake live with them. Can you ever imagine a mongoose living with cobras? "What are you doing? Chewing your food? I want you to swallow that mouse whole mister!"
