Here's what migth be my last story for a bit <,<; sorry... thanks again to 
riolucariolu for letting me use his characters =3
Anyway Petie finds out a few hard lessons in this chapter... such as "Duel Spirits have different morals then mortals" and "His deck needs serious work"... but the hardest lesson of all wil lcome as he sees his opponent. What will happen? Read to find out!

It had been QUITE the day yesterday… when Petie had finally woke up he’d been told about the deal and how Jules & Anne were going to get to come to Duel World. Naturally this had excited him. He’d even met one of Selanine’s, apparently many, kids. After that the rest of the day had been a blur as Momma took him back to the rest of the family and he’d blushed at all the attention and joy they had at him coming back safely. He’d slept like a baby that night, no joke intended, due to being exhausted and woke up to even more going on.
Petie sighed as he remembered… he’d been woken by Selanine of all people changing his diaper. Apparently she’d come over to get Momma and James to come with her to fill out the finally bits of paperwork and help pick up Jules and Anne from the airport. After a big breakfast, even bigger than usual by the Julafton standards, Momma and James had left Rose in change of watching Petie and the twins (they at least had enough respect for Petie not to call it babysitting) before leaving with Selanine… as the ninetails mentioned some of her own kids would be stopping by later to keep them company.
He groaned lightly as he looked around the living room of their hotel suite. Sure enough not long after the grown-ups left two of Selanine’s kids had shown up. There was Asteria, a zorua colored vulpix he could SWEAR looked familiar, wearing a jeans skirt and orange t-shirt… and oddly enough diapers which was apparently normal for Selanine’s kids. Maybe it was a genetic thing? Either way she seemed to swing between a teasing little sister and a teasing big sister whenever she was around him. Not to mention she apparently had gotten Illusion powers along with her fur color from her zoroak daddy and she was fond of using them to improve her teasing.
Next to her currently playing with the twins was Azhune. The LARGEST cubchoo Petie had ever seen bar none. Though to be fair he was used to large mon… just not large unevolved ones since the guy was only a bit shorter than a beartic. He was dressed in a blue and white Hawaiian shirt, a fashion choice Petie couldn’t wrap his head around, and blue jeans. The guy had a bit of a chubby belly but the rest of him looked like he worked out regularly. He seemed nice enough, and definitely saner then his sister, but he was rather over-affectionate and prone to hugs… something Petie figured out really quickly.
Sighing the teddiursa shook his head and tried to ignore them all as he focused on his deck spread out in front of him. He was going to figure out what about it Puddingcess hadn’t like and what needed the correcting she’d mentioned. It was kind of hard to focus though since he was regretting his clothing choice. In just thick diapers and overalls he had to stop what he was doing every few moments to shoo Asteria away when she snuck up behind him and pulled the back of his overalls away to peek at his, in her words “Cute diaper bear butt”. Focusing wasn’t made any easier by Azhune and Rose talking about the twins and Rose’s victory over Morning Star. What ELSE could go wrong this morning…?
A knocking on the door made Petie smack himself for daring to think that.
Everybody looked at the door as Azhune stopped bouncing the twins on his knees to ask Rose “Are you guys expecting more company? None of our siblings said they’d be coming…” he said as Rose just shook her head and got up to go over to the door, Petie climbing off the couch and waddling along behind her his curiosity getting the better of him. He stood next to Rose as she use the peephole in the door to see who was there… and a look of utter surprised crossed her face. Before Petie could ask what it was Rose had already opened the door to a very familiar looking hippoudon lady… who promptly gave her an affectionate hug before bending down to pick up Petie and giving him an affectionate smooch.
“Rose! Petie! Oh you should have told me you’d be spending time at Duel World! I would have been there to greet you when you arrived!”
“A-aunt Ramona!?”
“Surprised to see me?”
“Yes!”
The large ground type giggled and pulled Rose into a one armed hug since her other arm was busy cradling Petie while he furiously tried to scrub the huge pink kissy mark off his forehead. They both were utterly bewildered. Their aunt had mentioned taking a temporary job over summer break… did she mean duel world? She was certainly dressed differently at least wearing a clean, almost stark, white dress with bandage like drapery on in a few golden sun symbol like accents. On her wrist was a standard duel disk (with the strap made to accommodate her extra-large arm). Beyond that she had her same glasses and glaringly off colored lipstick she always wore.
A slight cough from Azhune reminded Petie and Rose they weren’t alone as Rose quickly ran through the introductions “Aunt Ramona this is Azhune and Asteria, friends of ours we met here. Guys this is our Aunt Ramona… who still hasn’t explained why the heck she’s here.” She said as Azhune smiled politely “It’s nice to meet you ma’am.” He said, only skipping the hello hug he’d given Petie & Rose when they’d met because his arms were full with the twins. Asteria giggled teasingly as she watched Petie blushing as he tried to scrub the kissy mark off his head “Nice to meet you!” she chirped politely.
“Wonderful to meet both of you!” Ramona said kindly before smiling to Rose “As for what I’m doing here… I’m working as park duelist this summer.” She said before giggling at the shocked look on her nephew and nieces faces “What? Didn’t know your auntie knew how to duel?” she chiding teasingly, hugging them again before setting Petie down “But to be honest I wish I came here for more pleasant things…” she said in a slightly regretful tone, making everybody look at her in confusion “… you might as well come out before I reconsider this Puddingcess.”
“Well that’s one way to spoil a good entrance. That wasn’t very nice of you Ramona.”
The groups jaws dropped as sure enough the pudding themed duel spirit materialized in front of them. Petie had told his family about her yesterday but to be honest Rose had been a bit skeptical… though this was pretty hard to disprove. Asteria stared in awe at this, probably having known about Puddingcess since her mom knew about the spirit… but by the looks of it she’d never actually seen her before and definitely not this far away from the Chateau. Azhune was the only one who DIDN’T flip out as he just chuckled like he’d seen it before “Hey there, you bring any snacks?” he asked jokingly.
Puddingcess ignored him completely as she strode over to Petie and looked at him with a stern gaze as he looked nervously back. Before he could ask what she wanted though she cut him off “Have you adjusted your deck any yet little one?” she asked bluntly as Petie weakly shook his head “Good, as a madolche user and a potential park duelist, yes I am telling you right out that you and your sister” she pointed at Rose “are being considered as possible duelists, maybe even hidden duelists. Anyway as I was saying as all those things I feel it is my obligation and duty to help you improve your skills.” She said sighing and making a face “Ugh, even saying those two words makes me feel ill… anyway I have arranged a little lesson to hammer the point I tried to explain yesterday home.” She finished, brushing out her dress lightly as Petie just looked at her in confusion.
“A… lesson?”
“Yes, you’re going to duel your aunt. Right here and right now.”
“WHAT!?” Oddly enough it was Rose who beat Petie to saying it as she looked at Puddingcess incredulously “I’m all for helping Petie improve but can you seriously suggest he face FAMILY in a duel using duel disks and the hologram system!” she said as Puddingcess just looked away and ignored her. Asteria glared daggers as her tails twisted ominously showing her displeasure at the situation “… you aren’t making them duel with anything on the line are you?” she growled making Puddingcess simple shake her head before glaring at the vulpix “Mind your tone, you are talking to a princess.” She said making the fox fluff up in indignant rage at that.
“… did you agree to this Auntie?” Petie asked weakly, looking at Ramona as the hippoudon just looked at her nephew apologetically “Sorry sweetie, she kind of twisted my arm into this… duel spirits are rather powerful, particularly when they’ve full manifested… I’m afraid we don’t have much choice.” She explained as Azhune handed the twins to Rose and gathered Petie’s deck off the table before kneeling down to the Teddiursa “If you want Petie I can duel her instead, I’ll even use your deck…” he offered before there was a crackle of energy. Azhune blinked and went wide eyed as he could see the energy crackling across his skin threateningly, not having done anything quite yet.
Puddingcess coughed to get their attention, a barely contained look of fury on her otherwise sweet face “You are apparently unaware of this so I am going to make it perfectly clear to you.” She said, her tone sweet to the point you know its forced “To Duel Spirits a deck is equated to a duelists soul… and while it can be changed, altered, and adjusted only under the most extreme circumstances should it be handed to somebody else to use…” the energy crackled over Azhune more “This is not those extreme circumstances and would defeat the point of the lesson… so please retract your offer and give him his deck back before I turn you into a large gingerbread cookie.”
Asteria fluffed up more at that and glared “You REALLY wanna risk angering mom and the rest of our family by doing that?” the vulpix asked, still growling as Puddingcess just stuck her nose up “This doesn’t concern you diaper girl, I’m dealing with the bears at the moment.” Which made the vulpix go bright red faced in fury. Before she could start spitting flames though Azhune cut her off “This won’t be a shadow game will it?” he asked, no, closer to demanded “This’ll be no more dangerous than if any two duelists faced each other in the park, right?” he said giving Puddingcess a steely glare. She just snorted.
“Of course, I’m a Duel Spirit. Not a heartless monster. Short of a few of the more unsavory dark types and a couple other exceptions Shadow Duels AREN’T something Duel Spirits play around with. You have my word as princess of the Madolche Chateau that no Shadow Magic will be involved here.”
“… very well then.” Azhune handed Petie his deck, before grabbing the teddiursa’s candy themed duel disk off the table, giving it to him, and wishing him “Best of luck.” As the cubchoo when back to sit with his sister… who still looked like she wanted to set the duel spirit on fire. Ramona sighed as she slipped her deck into her disk “Sorry about this Petie… do your best okay?” she said, giving him a reassuring smile as he finished shuffling his own deck and slipped it into his disk “… otay… I’ll try…” he lisped weakly as Puddingcess looked between the two of them “Okay then, if we’ve gotten the formalities and distractions out of the way… begin!”

Petie LP: 8000 Ramona LP: 8000
“I’ll start…” Ramona said as she drew a card “… I’ll set two cards and one monster and end my turn.” Three facedown cards appeared in front of her as Petie drew his own card and looked his hand over mentally saying words that would have made Momma wash his mouth out with soap. Of all the duels to start with a bad hand… he’d just have to make due “I summon… Madolche Chouxvalier!” he called as the plush horse riding cavalier appeared (1700/1300) “And I’ll have him attack your facedown!” he called as his monster rushed forward and slashed the hidden card with its candy cane saber.
A toga wearing angle with four golden wings (1400/800) appeared for a moment before shattering “That was my Shining Angel you just destroyed letting me special summon a light attribute monster with 1500 attack or less… like my Nova Summoner!” she called as a new, utterly bizarre monster appeared. It looked like a Christmas wreath made of orange crystal with metal armor wrapped around it and a small pair of wings on top (1400/800) making Petie scratch his head “A… fairy deck? Ah well… I set two cards and end my turn.” He said as the two facedowns appeared.
“I draw then…” Ramona said, almost sadly “… and I have Nova Summoner attack your Chouxvalier.” She said as the wreath flew at his cavalier and was promptly shattered “And his effect lets me special summon one fairy attribute monster with 1500 attack or less to the field…” a second Nova Summoner appeared “And I’ll attack with him too!” she shouted as the scene repeated again as another Nova summon appeared and then charged right into Chouxvalier only to shatter and a Shining Angel appear… only for him to crash into Chouxvalier as well as one final Shining Angel appeared.

Petie just stared in utter befuddlement as the pointless attacks finally stopped “Next… I activate Soul Absorption.” Ramona said as the continuous spell appeared “Now on I gain 500 lifepoints whenever a card is removed from play… and then I activate Macro Cosmos.” She said as one of her facedown cards lifted revealing an unusual continuous trap… as they were suddenly enveloped in a blinding light and found themselves floating in space. Petie squeaked in fear making Ramona chuckle lightly.
“Calm down dear, it’s just a card effect… like a field spell. In fact I’d explain what Macro Cosmos actually means… but it’d probably bore you so I’ll skip to my cards effect. From now on all cards that go to the graveyard are removed from play instead… and since I successfully activated it I can special summon one of the cards in my key set to the field. Meet Helios - the Primordial Sun!”
They stared as a bizarre figure rose up from the void of space… it had the silhouette of a shapely lady but was made of white bandages wrapped tightly around her form like a mummy and trailing off her with empty space where the bandaged didn’t cover. And then there was her most striking feature… the fact she had a miniature sun instead of a head. Despite this Petie could tell she seemed to be looking at him almost apologetically (?/?) “First off her attack and defense points are equal to the number of cards removed from play… which at the moment is 0” Ramona explained as Helios’s points finally registered in (0/0) and her other facedown lifted “Which lets me use Inferno Reckless Summon to special summon two copies of her!”
Two more odd sun creatures appeared on Ramona’s field as one more copy of Chouxvalier appeared on Petie’s ‘Now I gain 500 lifepoints since Inferno Reckless Summon is removed from play…” Ramona said “And I play Soul Release letting me remove five cards from either of our graveyards from play… and I remove ever monster in my graveyard from play!” she said as the five monster cards slipped out of her grave and vanished as she gained lifepoints for each one followed by lifepoints as Soul Release was removed from play followed by all three of Helios’s points changing (500/500) x 3.

“… this isn’t good…” Azhune said, currently holding Asteria stead on her lap, only the threat of an Ice Punch over her mouth keeping the little vulpix from trying to set Puddingcess on fire for the diaper comment earlier. “So you can see the problem too?” Rose asked, sitting next to them on the couch twins in her arms, as they watched Ramona set on card. The cubchoo just nodded as Petie drew his card “Yep… but does Petie?” Azhune said as they both watched nervously.
“Nice of her to give me two Chouxvaliers” Petie thought, a little grin on his face “Now I can bring out Queen Tiaramisu and use her power with Madolche Ticket and…” Petie stopped cold mid internal monologue as something dawned on him making his face go pale and his eyes go wide. His jaw dropped as he stuttered out “T-this… trap… it…” Puddingcess’s laughter reminded them that she was there as the blond duel spirit smiled coyly at Petie “Exactly, behold the big weakness of the madolche card… the destruction of the graveyard! Now even if you summoned Tiaramisu there’s no way to use her powers since you have no Madolche cards in your graveyard!”
Giggling softly Puddingcess continued “Also your lack of splashable cards and simple destruction spells and traps leaves you with only one way to destroy the Macro Cosmos… my card…” there was a faint tinge of pride in her voice there “But.. .can you draw it in time? With the sheer number of scattered cards in your deck will you draw either of my cards or something to search for them before it’s too late?” she asked, smiling at Petie with a slight smug look as the teddiursa ground his teeth and tried not to give away how right she was.
“S-so!? If I destrwoy her monstas befo den it dun matta!” Petie shouted, his extreme lisp giving away how nervous he was as he took a few breaths to try and calm down “I summon… Madolche Butlerusk!” he shouted as the dapper butler appeared (1500/800) while Puddingcess looked between him and Chouxvalier and smiled as if recalling fond memories. Petie ignored her “And he lets me take a field spell from my deck… so now I play it! Madolche Chateau!” he shouted as Puddingcess didn’t even try to hide her fond sigh as the chateau rose up increasing the power of Petie’s monsters (2200/1800) x 2 (2000/ 1300).
“Now attack her Helios! Candy Charge!” Petie shouted as his Chouxvalier rushed toward the celestial being… only for Ramona’s facedown to lift “And I play Shift! And old card but useful… I redirect your attack to Shining Angel” she said, still perfectly calm as Chouxvalier veered wildly off course and ended up slashing the angel with his saber making him shatter “I can’t use his power due to Macro Cosmos either but Soul Absorption gives me 500 extra points” she said as she lost lifepoints from the attack followed by a few of them returning. Meanwhile her Helios’s points rose slightly (600/600) x 3.
“… fine then! You other two! Attack her monsters!” Petie shouted as his second Chouxvalier rode up and slashed Helios making her shatter as Ramona first took damage, then gained lifepoints, then her other Helios’s points rose again (700/700) x 2 as Buttlerusk casually splashed hot tea on the second Helios repeating the cycle as the card effect triggers and ended with the last Helios’s attack rising (800/800). “So what if I dun have a graveyard… I can still beat you!” Petie shouted, trying to convince himself as much as Ramona “I end my turn!”

Ramona drew one card “First… I play Chaos Greed. Since I have no cards in my graveyard I can draw twice.” She said as the spell activated and removed from play, giving her lifepoints as she drew “Next… I play Grand Convergence.” A spell card appeared as Petie saw the distant planets in the void of space around them start rotating till they’d line up in a cross shape around the duelists “This card can only be played if I control a Macro Cosmos… first it deals you 300 points of damage and then it destroys every monster on the field.” She explained as there was a moment of silence before Petie shouted out “WHAT!?” as all monsters on the field were crushed by some kind of gravitation field. Puddingcess winced as she watched them shatter while Ramona gained lifepoints for each as they were removed from play by Macro Cosmos.
Petie LP: 7700 Ramona LP: 11100
“Next… I summon D. D. Scout Plane.” She said as this weird, orb shaped space ship with two mechanical arms sticking off it appeared from a swirling void (800/1200) “I know, not my strongest monster… but it fits the space theme and it has a useful ability… now attack with D.D. Warning shot!” Ramona called as a small laser fired from one of the scout plane’s arms, barely grazing Petie and making him squeak in fear as he fell back on his bottom “And with that I end my turn.”

Petie shakily drew his card, not used to seeing all his monster blown up so easily WITHOUT having them return… he was so used to seeing his monsters return to his deck or hand like they were supposed to this was a rather nasty shock. He looked at his hand, no Puddingcess yet, he’d have to try and make do “I pway… er… play Madolche Croiwanssant!” he shouted as the adorable puppy appeared and barked happily (1500/1200) making Puddingcess coo at the cuteness as it powered up from the Chateau (2000/1700) “Attack her Scout Plane!” Petie shouted as Croiwanssant shattered it in one pounce “And I end my turn…”

Petie squealed in surprise as the void opened up again and the Scout Plane reappeared (800/1200) before he could demand an explanation Ramona cut in “When my Scout Plane is removed from play it’s special summoned during the end phase, I told you it was useful didn’t I?” she said as she pulled her card “And now I’ll tribute it… to summon the next stage of solar power! … my that is a bad joke, sorry.” She said, blushing a little “Anyway I tribute it to play Helios Duo Megistus!”
The scout plane vanished as another sun lady appeared… this one with a portly, rounded figure similar to Ramona’s own. It was again made of white bandages forming a silhouette but the sun that made her head was much larger this time with what appeared to be a smaller sun orbiting it (?/?) “Like before her points are determined by the number of monsters removed from play...” Ramona explained “but this time she gains 200 points for each, and I count 14.” She said as Duo Megistus’s points skyrocketed (3200/3200) and Petie went bug eyed.
“Now… attack with solar flare breaker! … but be gentle, okay?” Ramona said as a plume of flame shot from the sun creature, torching the puppy… but barely touching Petie. Not that it mattered as seeing Croiwanssant burnt to a crisp was more than enough to make him fall to his knees. Even Puddingcess looked away as it happened. Ramona sighed softly, obviously not enjoying this at all “I end my turn… and my Scout Plane comes back.” She said as the little ship reappeared (800/1200).
Petie LP: 5700 Ramona LP: 11400
Sniffling Petie drew his card and looked at, he had one shot left… here’s hoping it would work “I play Madolche Magileine!” he called as the dessert themed witch appeared and waved at Puddincess lightly (1400/1200) before powering up due to the Chateau (1900/1700) “And she lets me get a Madolche monster from my deck…” he pulled the card out “And I have her attack! Sweet spell!” he shouted as Magileine wiggled her fingers and Scout Plane was shattered by a huge piece of cake that came hurtling out of nowhere like a comet “… and dats all.” Petie said as Scout Plane returned back to the field.
Petie LP: 5700 Ramona LP: 10800
“I draw then… Duo Megistus, attack his monster.” Ramona said dispassionately as another stream of flame incinerated Magileine making Petie whimper. Ramona stood in silence for a moment before sighing and waving a little as Scout Plane blasted Petie again making him tumble back onto his bottom. “… I end my turn… and I hope your happy with this.” She said, glaring at Puddingcess who simply shrugged “This isn’t my style to be honest, but lessons like this have to be taught the hard way.” The duel spirit said as Petie weakly got to his feet.
Petie LP: 3600 Ramona LP: 11300
“I d-dwaw…” he lisped, pulling his card “And I pway… PLAY my favorite monster! Come out Madolche Mewfeuille!!” he shouted as the pink cat appeared with a sleepy meow (500/300) as he powered up from the chateau (1000/800) before seeing Puddingcess as he went over to her prompting a confused look from Petie. Puddingcess giggled as she patted the cats head “Mewfeuille is one of my closest friends actually… which is why we work so well together in the game.” She explained before smiling “After all… it is MY card your about to play with his effect.. .isn’t it?” she asked making Petie blush red.
He stood there in silence for a moment before sighing “… yes…” he said as he played the card and a copy of Puddingcess appeared (1000/1000) looking at her double in confusion even as she powered up due to Chateau (1500/1500) and her own effect due to there being no monsters in Petie’s grave (2300/2300) “And I have her attack Scout Plane!” he shouted as his Puddingcess skipped over to the machine and gave it a playful bump with her hips making it explode “And I use her effect to destroy your Macro Cosmos!” Petie shouted as the space around them shattered revealing the hotel living room as the teddiursa grinned confidently “Turn end!”

Scout Ship reappeared before Ramona drew her card. She looked at it and sighed “… Petie, I hope one day you’ll forgive me for this… but I tribute Duo Megistus to special summon Helios Trice Megistus, one of my two strongest monster.” She said as the sun woman EXPLODED in a flash of light leaving behind… three creatures? Each one had a wrapped body but they had a round build and dwarf like proportions along with even large suns for heads as they floated together in a triangle formation (?/?). Petie groaned “… let me guess…” he said weakly “300 points each?” he squeaked as their points settled at a whopping (5100/5100) making a less then masculine squeak of sheer terror escape Petie’s throat.
“… if I attack your Puddingcess you’d use her power to destroy Trice Megistus… so sorry Petie but…” Ramona sighed and looked away “… Trice Megistus… attack Mewfeuille with Phoenix Fireburst Alignment.” She said weakly as the three sun deities glow brightly with aura of flames… before the fire erupted forth in the shape of a great phoenix and incinerated the pink cat as well as sending Petie tumbling across the carpeted floor as he screamed “… I’m sorry…” Ramona said, still unable to look at him.

Petie LP: Lose Ramona LP: Win
The holograms started to fade but the floor literally SHOOK as Rose, Ramona, and even Asteria rushed over to gently prop the crying Petie up and cuddle him, even as all of them shot dirty looks at Puddingcess. “… before you judge remember, I’m a duel spirit. We have different beliefs and ideals then mortals…” she said before looking away “Though I won’t pretend that’s any excuse for what I’ve done. It is truly reprehensible… I can only pray the lesson I wanted to teach got through.” She curtsied softly “If only princesses weren’t supposed to apologize in front of audiences… oh well…” she said as Azhune got up and looked at her “… please leave, I think you’ve done enough.” He said politely as Puddingcess nodded.
“Very well…” and with that she was gone as if she’d been a hologram herself, leaving behind a concerned group of family and friends and a crying Petie in desperate need of a change.

“… and though I’ll admit I did suggest she have you duel to show you your decks weakness if I’d know that sugar coated pain in the tails was going to drag family into this I would have NEVER mentioned it, so once again I’m sincerely and deeply sorry Petie.”
It’d been quite the scene once everyone had finally arrived back. Deciding to save time on the lengthy awkward explanation in person Rose had called Momma in advance and had Ramona explain what’d happen… but it was only after they arrived back with Jules and Anne had Selanine confessed to her part in all of it. Unfortunately Petie was still drastically shaken up despite multiple hugs from Azhune, apologies from Ramona, and Rose and Asteria’s best attempts to calm him. Only after Petie and Jules showed up and hugged him did he start to calm down.
Selanine sat around the living room table as she finished explaining and apologizing to Petie. James, Gwen, and Ramona (who had mostly been bullied into her role and already apologized as much as she could) just looked at Selanine in silence while Rose held the twins and Azhune held Asteria. All the while Petie was cuddling Anne for comfort while she hugged back and Jules made it into a group hug. Selanine sighed, feeling a more than a little guilty as the silence continued for a few minutes more before she broke it.
“Well… it’s not much… but I can try to get her to apologize next time I see her… but don’t hope too much for that…” Selanine said before smiling “Since I did promise to show you around how about I step that up a little? I know it’s not much but it’s the least I can do. I can get you into some places normal guests would never see.” She offered hopefully looking between the adults and Petie. After a moment Petie nodded weakly making her smiled “Wonderful! I’ll give you some time to settle in first though, would you like to start today or tomorrow.”
“Well… if Petie’s up for it we can start a little later, it’s only twelve now…” Momma said, scratching Petie’s ears gently “But there’s not going to be anymore psychotic duel spirits running around is there?” she asked giving Selanine a look as the ninetails chuckled “Oh no, not at all. Perish the though.” She said as Asteria spoke up “But mom, what about Dark Freed?” she asked making Selanine gently shush her “They got rid of him last month sweetie.” She said reassuringly as Azhune piped up next “And Vampire Lord?”
“… he got caught trying to woo a guest so he’s on probation at the moment.”
“Battle Ox?”
“Getting anger management therapy.”
“Ooo! Ooo! Will we meet Dark Magician Girl?” Jules asked as he giggled eagerly before noticing the look on the faces of Selanine and her kids “… what?” he tilted his head in confusion as the ninetails gave him an affectionate ear rub and chuckled nervously “Weeeeeell… you COULD meet her… but…” she trailed off as Asteria spoke up “She’s a spoiled brat!” the vulpix said making Azhune chuckle as his little sister glared up at him “What’s so funny?”
“You still hold a grudge because she beat you, don’t you?”
“DO NOT!!!”

Duel World
A Hard Lesson It had been QUITE the day yesterday… when Petie had finally woke up he’d been told about the deal and how Jules & Anne were going to get to come to Duel World. Naturally this had excited him. He’d even met one of Selanine’s, apparently many, kids. After that the rest of the day had been a blur as Momma took him back to the rest of the family and he’d blushed at all the attention and joy they had at him coming back safely. He’d slept like a baby that night, no joke intended, due to being exhausted and woke up to even more going on.
Petie sighed as he remembered… he’d been woken by Selanine of all people changing his diaper. Apparently she’d come over to get Momma and James to come with her to fill out the finally bits of paperwork and help pick up Jules and Anne from the airport. After a big breakfast, even bigger than usual by the Julafton standards, Momma and James had left Rose in change of watching Petie and the twins (they at least had enough respect for Petie not to call it babysitting) before leaving with Selanine… as the ninetails mentioned some of her own kids would be stopping by later to keep them company.
He groaned lightly as he looked around the living room of their hotel suite. Sure enough not long after the grown-ups left two of Selanine’s kids had shown up. There was Asteria, a zorua colored vulpix he could SWEAR looked familiar, wearing a jeans skirt and orange t-shirt… and oddly enough diapers which was apparently normal for Selanine’s kids. Maybe it was a genetic thing? Either way she seemed to swing between a teasing little sister and a teasing big sister whenever she was around him. Not to mention she apparently had gotten Illusion powers along with her fur color from her zoroak daddy and she was fond of using them to improve her teasing.
Next to her currently playing with the twins was Azhune. The LARGEST cubchoo Petie had ever seen bar none. Though to be fair he was used to large mon… just not large unevolved ones since the guy was only a bit shorter than a beartic. He was dressed in a blue and white Hawaiian shirt, a fashion choice Petie couldn’t wrap his head around, and blue jeans. The guy had a bit of a chubby belly but the rest of him looked like he worked out regularly. He seemed nice enough, and definitely saner then his sister, but he was rather over-affectionate and prone to hugs… something Petie figured out really quickly.
Sighing the teddiursa shook his head and tried to ignore them all as he focused on his deck spread out in front of him. He was going to figure out what about it Puddingcess hadn’t like and what needed the correcting she’d mentioned. It was kind of hard to focus though since he was regretting his clothing choice. In just thick diapers and overalls he had to stop what he was doing every few moments to shoo Asteria away when she snuck up behind him and pulled the back of his overalls away to peek at his, in her words “Cute diaper bear butt”. Focusing wasn’t made any easier by Azhune and Rose talking about the twins and Rose’s victory over Morning Star. What ELSE could go wrong this morning…?
A knocking on the door made Petie smack himself for daring to think that.
Everybody looked at the door as Azhune stopped bouncing the twins on his knees to ask Rose “Are you guys expecting more company? None of our siblings said they’d be coming…” he said as Rose just shook her head and got up to go over to the door, Petie climbing off the couch and waddling along behind her his curiosity getting the better of him. He stood next to Rose as she use the peephole in the door to see who was there… and a look of utter surprised crossed her face. Before Petie could ask what it was Rose had already opened the door to a very familiar looking hippoudon lady… who promptly gave her an affectionate hug before bending down to pick up Petie and giving him an affectionate smooch.
“Rose! Petie! Oh you should have told me you’d be spending time at Duel World! I would have been there to greet you when you arrived!”
“A-aunt Ramona!?”
“Surprised to see me?”
“Yes!”
The large ground type giggled and pulled Rose into a one armed hug since her other arm was busy cradling Petie while he furiously tried to scrub the huge pink kissy mark off his forehead. They both were utterly bewildered. Their aunt had mentioned taking a temporary job over summer break… did she mean duel world? She was certainly dressed differently at least wearing a clean, almost stark, white dress with bandage like drapery on in a few golden sun symbol like accents. On her wrist was a standard duel disk (with the strap made to accommodate her extra-large arm). Beyond that she had her same glasses and glaringly off colored lipstick she always wore.
A slight cough from Azhune reminded Petie and Rose they weren’t alone as Rose quickly ran through the introductions “Aunt Ramona this is Azhune and Asteria, friends of ours we met here. Guys this is our Aunt Ramona… who still hasn’t explained why the heck she’s here.” She said as Azhune smiled politely “It’s nice to meet you ma’am.” He said, only skipping the hello hug he’d given Petie & Rose when they’d met because his arms were full with the twins. Asteria giggled teasingly as she watched Petie blushing as he tried to scrub the kissy mark off his head “Nice to meet you!” she chirped politely.
“Wonderful to meet both of you!” Ramona said kindly before smiling to Rose “As for what I’m doing here… I’m working as park duelist this summer.” She said before giggling at the shocked look on her nephew and nieces faces “What? Didn’t know your auntie knew how to duel?” she chiding teasingly, hugging them again before setting Petie down “But to be honest I wish I came here for more pleasant things…” she said in a slightly regretful tone, making everybody look at her in confusion “… you might as well come out before I reconsider this Puddingcess.”
“Well that’s one way to spoil a good entrance. That wasn’t very nice of you Ramona.”
The groups jaws dropped as sure enough the pudding themed duel spirit materialized in front of them. Petie had told his family about her yesterday but to be honest Rose had been a bit skeptical… though this was pretty hard to disprove. Asteria stared in awe at this, probably having known about Puddingcess since her mom knew about the spirit… but by the looks of it she’d never actually seen her before and definitely not this far away from the Chateau. Azhune was the only one who DIDN’T flip out as he just chuckled like he’d seen it before “Hey there, you bring any snacks?” he asked jokingly.
Puddingcess ignored him completely as she strode over to Petie and looked at him with a stern gaze as he looked nervously back. Before he could ask what she wanted though she cut him off “Have you adjusted your deck any yet little one?” she asked bluntly as Petie weakly shook his head “Good, as a madolche user and a potential park duelist, yes I am telling you right out that you and your sister” she pointed at Rose “are being considered as possible duelists, maybe even hidden duelists. Anyway as I was saying as all those things I feel it is my obligation and duty to help you improve your skills.” She said sighing and making a face “Ugh, even saying those two words makes me feel ill… anyway I have arranged a little lesson to hammer the point I tried to explain yesterday home.” She finished, brushing out her dress lightly as Petie just looked at her in confusion.
“A… lesson?”
“Yes, you’re going to duel your aunt. Right here and right now.”
“WHAT!?” Oddly enough it was Rose who beat Petie to saying it as she looked at Puddingcess incredulously “I’m all for helping Petie improve but can you seriously suggest he face FAMILY in a duel using duel disks and the hologram system!” she said as Puddingcess just looked away and ignored her. Asteria glared daggers as her tails twisted ominously showing her displeasure at the situation “… you aren’t making them duel with anything on the line are you?” she growled making Puddingcess simple shake her head before glaring at the vulpix “Mind your tone, you are talking to a princess.” She said making the fox fluff up in indignant rage at that.
“… did you agree to this Auntie?” Petie asked weakly, looking at Ramona as the hippoudon just looked at her nephew apologetically “Sorry sweetie, she kind of twisted my arm into this… duel spirits are rather powerful, particularly when they’ve full manifested… I’m afraid we don’t have much choice.” She explained as Azhune handed the twins to Rose and gathered Petie’s deck off the table before kneeling down to the Teddiursa “If you want Petie I can duel her instead, I’ll even use your deck…” he offered before there was a crackle of energy. Azhune blinked and went wide eyed as he could see the energy crackling across his skin threateningly, not having done anything quite yet.
Puddingcess coughed to get their attention, a barely contained look of fury on her otherwise sweet face “You are apparently unaware of this so I am going to make it perfectly clear to you.” She said, her tone sweet to the point you know its forced “To Duel Spirits a deck is equated to a duelists soul… and while it can be changed, altered, and adjusted only under the most extreme circumstances should it be handed to somebody else to use…” the energy crackled over Azhune more “This is not those extreme circumstances and would defeat the point of the lesson… so please retract your offer and give him his deck back before I turn you into a large gingerbread cookie.”
Asteria fluffed up more at that and glared “You REALLY wanna risk angering mom and the rest of our family by doing that?” the vulpix asked, still growling as Puddingcess just stuck her nose up “This doesn’t concern you diaper girl, I’m dealing with the bears at the moment.” Which made the vulpix go bright red faced in fury. Before she could start spitting flames though Azhune cut her off “This won’t be a shadow game will it?” he asked, no, closer to demanded “This’ll be no more dangerous than if any two duelists faced each other in the park, right?” he said giving Puddingcess a steely glare. She just snorted.
“Of course, I’m a Duel Spirit. Not a heartless monster. Short of a few of the more unsavory dark types and a couple other exceptions Shadow Duels AREN’T something Duel Spirits play around with. You have my word as princess of the Madolche Chateau that no Shadow Magic will be involved here.”
“… very well then.” Azhune handed Petie his deck, before grabbing the teddiursa’s candy themed duel disk off the table, giving it to him, and wishing him “Best of luck.” As the cubchoo when back to sit with his sister… who still looked like she wanted to set the duel spirit on fire. Ramona sighed as she slipped her deck into her disk “Sorry about this Petie… do your best okay?” she said, giving him a reassuring smile as he finished shuffling his own deck and slipped it into his disk “… otay… I’ll try…” he lisped weakly as Puddingcess looked between the two of them “Okay then, if we’ve gotten the formalities and distractions out of the way… begin!”

“I’ll start…” Ramona said as she drew a card “… I’ll set two cards and one monster and end my turn.” Three facedown cards appeared in front of her as Petie drew his own card and looked his hand over mentally saying words that would have made Momma wash his mouth out with soap. Of all the duels to start with a bad hand… he’d just have to make due “I summon… Madolche Chouxvalier!” he called as the plush horse riding cavalier appeared (1700/1300) “And I’ll have him attack your facedown!” he called as his monster rushed forward and slashed the hidden card with its candy cane saber.
A toga wearing angle with four golden wings (1400/800) appeared for a moment before shattering “That was my Shining Angel you just destroyed letting me special summon a light attribute monster with 1500 attack or less… like my Nova Summoner!” she called as a new, utterly bizarre monster appeared. It looked like a Christmas wreath made of orange crystal with metal armor wrapped around it and a small pair of wings on top (1400/800) making Petie scratch his head “A… fairy deck? Ah well… I set two cards and end my turn.” He said as the two facedowns appeared.
“I draw then…” Ramona said, almost sadly “… and I have Nova Summoner attack your Chouxvalier.” She said as the wreath flew at his cavalier and was promptly shattered “And his effect lets me special summon one fairy attribute monster with 1500 attack or less to the field…” a second Nova Summoner appeared “And I’ll attack with him too!” she shouted as the scene repeated again as another Nova summon appeared and then charged right into Chouxvalier only to shatter and a Shining Angel appear… only for him to crash into Chouxvalier as well as one final Shining Angel appeared.
Petie LP: 8000 Ramona LP: 6800
Petie just stared in utter befuddlement as the pointless attacks finally stopped “Next… I activate Soul Absorption.” Ramona said as the continuous spell appeared “Now on I gain 500 lifepoints whenever a card is removed from play… and then I activate Macro Cosmos.” She said as one of her facedown cards lifted revealing an unusual continuous trap… as they were suddenly enveloped in a blinding light and found themselves floating in space. Petie squeaked in fear making Ramona chuckle lightly.
“Calm down dear, it’s just a card effect… like a field spell. In fact I’d explain what Macro Cosmos actually means… but it’d probably bore you so I’ll skip to my cards effect. From now on all cards that go to the graveyard are removed from play instead… and since I successfully activated it I can special summon one of the cards in my key set to the field. Meet Helios - the Primordial Sun!”
They stared as a bizarre figure rose up from the void of space… it had the silhouette of a shapely lady but was made of white bandages wrapped tightly around her form like a mummy and trailing off her with empty space where the bandaged didn’t cover. And then there was her most striking feature… the fact she had a miniature sun instead of a head. Despite this Petie could tell she seemed to be looking at him almost apologetically (?/?) “First off her attack and defense points are equal to the number of cards removed from play… which at the moment is 0” Ramona explained as Helios’s points finally registered in (0/0) and her other facedown lifted “Which lets me use Inferno Reckless Summon to special summon two copies of her!”
Two more odd sun creatures appeared on Ramona’s field as one more copy of Chouxvalier appeared on Petie’s ‘Now I gain 500 lifepoints since Inferno Reckless Summon is removed from play…” Ramona said “And I play Soul Release letting me remove five cards from either of our graveyards from play… and I remove ever monster in my graveyard from play!” she said as the five monster cards slipped out of her grave and vanished as she gained lifepoints for each one followed by lifepoints as Soul Release was removed from play followed by all three of Helios’s points changing (500/500) x 3.
Petie LP: 8000 Ramona LP: 10300
“… this isn’t good…” Azhune said, currently holding Asteria stead on her lap, only the threat of an Ice Punch over her mouth keeping the little vulpix from trying to set Puddingcess on fire for the diaper comment earlier. “So you can see the problem too?” Rose asked, sitting next to them on the couch twins in her arms, as they watched Ramona set on card. The cubchoo just nodded as Petie drew his card “Yep… but does Petie?” Azhune said as they both watched nervously.
“Nice of her to give me two Chouxvaliers” Petie thought, a little grin on his face “Now I can bring out Queen Tiaramisu and use her power with Madolche Ticket and…” Petie stopped cold mid internal monologue as something dawned on him making his face go pale and his eyes go wide. His jaw dropped as he stuttered out “T-this… trap… it…” Puddingcess’s laughter reminded them that she was there as the blond duel spirit smiled coyly at Petie “Exactly, behold the big weakness of the madolche card… the destruction of the graveyard! Now even if you summoned Tiaramisu there’s no way to use her powers since you have no Madolche cards in your graveyard!”
Giggling softly Puddingcess continued “Also your lack of splashable cards and simple destruction spells and traps leaves you with only one way to destroy the Macro Cosmos… my card…” there was a faint tinge of pride in her voice there “But.. .can you draw it in time? With the sheer number of scattered cards in your deck will you draw either of my cards or something to search for them before it’s too late?” she asked, smiling at Petie with a slight smug look as the teddiursa ground his teeth and tried not to give away how right she was.
“S-so!? If I destrwoy her monstas befo den it dun matta!” Petie shouted, his extreme lisp giving away how nervous he was as he took a few breaths to try and calm down “I summon… Madolche Butlerusk!” he shouted as the dapper butler appeared (1500/800) while Puddingcess looked between him and Chouxvalier and smiled as if recalling fond memories. Petie ignored her “And he lets me take a field spell from my deck… so now I play it! Madolche Chateau!” he shouted as Puddingcess didn’t even try to hide her fond sigh as the chateau rose up increasing the power of Petie’s monsters (2200/1800) x 2 (2000/ 1300).
“Now attack her Helios! Candy Charge!” Petie shouted as his Chouxvalier rushed toward the celestial being… only for Ramona’s facedown to lift “And I play Shift! And old card but useful… I redirect your attack to Shining Angel” she said, still perfectly calm as Chouxvalier veered wildly off course and ended up slashing the angel with his saber making him shatter “I can’t use his power due to Macro Cosmos either but Soul Absorption gives me 500 extra points” she said as she lost lifepoints from the attack followed by a few of them returning. Meanwhile her Helios’s points rose slightly (600/600) x 3.
“… fine then! You other two! Attack her monsters!” Petie shouted as his second Chouxvalier rode up and slashed Helios making her shatter as Ramona first took damage, then gained lifepoints, then her other Helios’s points rose again (700/700) x 2 as Buttlerusk casually splashed hot tea on the second Helios repeating the cycle as the card effect triggers and ended with the last Helios’s attack rising (800/800). “So what if I dun have a graveyard… I can still beat you!” Petie shouted, trying to convince himself as much as Ramona “I end my turn!”

Ramona drew one card “First… I play Chaos Greed. Since I have no cards in my graveyard I can draw twice.” She said as the spell activated and removed from play, giving her lifepoints as she drew “Next… I play Grand Convergence.” A spell card appeared as Petie saw the distant planets in the void of space around them start rotating till they’d line up in a cross shape around the duelists “This card can only be played if I control a Macro Cosmos… first it deals you 300 points of damage and then it destroys every monster on the field.” She explained as there was a moment of silence before Petie shouted out “WHAT!?” as all monsters on the field were crushed by some kind of gravitation field. Puddingcess winced as she watched them shatter while Ramona gained lifepoints for each as they were removed from play by Macro Cosmos.

“Next… I summon D. D. Scout Plane.” She said as this weird, orb shaped space ship with two mechanical arms sticking off it appeared from a swirling void (800/1200) “I know, not my strongest monster… but it fits the space theme and it has a useful ability… now attack with D.D. Warning shot!” Ramona called as a small laser fired from one of the scout plane’s arms, barely grazing Petie and making him squeak in fear as he fell back on his bottom “And with that I end my turn.”

Petie shakily drew his card, not used to seeing all his monster blown up so easily WITHOUT having them return… he was so used to seeing his monsters return to his deck or hand like they were supposed to this was a rather nasty shock. He looked at his hand, no Puddingcess yet, he’d have to try and make do “I pway… er… play Madolche Croiwanssant!” he shouted as the adorable puppy appeared and barked happily (1500/1200) making Puddingcess coo at the cuteness as it powered up from the Chateau (2000/1700) “Attack her Scout Plane!” Petie shouted as Croiwanssant shattered it in one pounce “And I end my turn…”

Petie squealed in surprise as the void opened up again and the Scout Plane reappeared (800/1200) before he could demand an explanation Ramona cut in “When my Scout Plane is removed from play it’s special summoned during the end phase, I told you it was useful didn’t I?” she said as she pulled her card “And now I’ll tribute it… to summon the next stage of solar power! … my that is a bad joke, sorry.” She said, blushing a little “Anyway I tribute it to play Helios Duo Megistus!”
The scout plane vanished as another sun lady appeared… this one with a portly, rounded figure similar to Ramona’s own. It was again made of white bandages forming a silhouette but the sun that made her head was much larger this time with what appeared to be a smaller sun orbiting it (?/?) “Like before her points are determined by the number of monsters removed from play...” Ramona explained “but this time she gains 200 points for each, and I count 14.” She said as Duo Megistus’s points skyrocketed (3200/3200) and Petie went bug eyed.
“Now… attack with solar flare breaker! … but be gentle, okay?” Ramona said as a plume of flame shot from the sun creature, torching the puppy… but barely touching Petie. Not that it mattered as seeing Croiwanssant burnt to a crisp was more than enough to make him fall to his knees. Even Puddingcess looked away as it happened. Ramona sighed softly, obviously not enjoying this at all “I end my turn… and my Scout Plane comes back.” She said as the little ship reappeared (800/1200).
Petie LP: 5700 Ramona LP: 11400
Sniffling Petie drew his card and looked at, he had one shot left… here’s hoping it would work “I play Madolche Magileine!” he called as the dessert themed witch appeared and waved at Puddincess lightly (1400/1200) before powering up due to the Chateau (1900/1700) “And she lets me get a Madolche monster from my deck…” he pulled the card out “And I have her attack! Sweet spell!” he shouted as Magileine wiggled her fingers and Scout Plane was shattered by a huge piece of cake that came hurtling out of nowhere like a comet “… and dats all.” Petie said as Scout Plane returned back to the field.
Petie LP: 5700 Ramona LP: 10800
“I draw then… Duo Megistus, attack his monster.” Ramona said dispassionately as another stream of flame incinerated Magileine making Petie whimper. Ramona stood in silence for a moment before sighing and waving a little as Scout Plane blasted Petie again making him tumble back onto his bottom. “… I end my turn… and I hope your happy with this.” She said, glaring at Puddingcess who simply shrugged “This isn’t my style to be honest, but lessons like this have to be taught the hard way.” The duel spirit said as Petie weakly got to his feet.
Petie LP: 3600 Ramona LP: 11300
“I d-dwaw…” he lisped, pulling his card “And I pway… PLAY my favorite monster! Come out Madolche Mewfeuille!!” he shouted as the pink cat appeared with a sleepy meow (500/300) as he powered up from the chateau (1000/800) before seeing Puddingcess as he went over to her prompting a confused look from Petie. Puddingcess giggled as she patted the cats head “Mewfeuille is one of my closest friends actually… which is why we work so well together in the game.” She explained before smiling “After all… it is MY card your about to play with his effect.. .isn’t it?” she asked making Petie blush red.
He stood there in silence for a moment before sighing “… yes…” he said as he played the card and a copy of Puddingcess appeared (1000/1000) looking at her double in confusion even as she powered up due to Chateau (1500/1500) and her own effect due to there being no monsters in Petie’s grave (2300/2300) “And I have her attack Scout Plane!” he shouted as his Puddingcess skipped over to the machine and gave it a playful bump with her hips making it explode “And I use her effect to destroy your Macro Cosmos!” Petie shouted as the space around them shattered revealing the hotel living room as the teddiursa grinned confidently “Turn end!”

Scout Ship reappeared before Ramona drew her card. She looked at it and sighed “… Petie, I hope one day you’ll forgive me for this… but I tribute Duo Megistus to special summon Helios Trice Megistus, one of my two strongest monster.” She said as the sun woman EXPLODED in a flash of light leaving behind… three creatures? Each one had a wrapped body but they had a round build and dwarf like proportions along with even large suns for heads as they floated together in a triangle formation (?/?). Petie groaned “… let me guess…” he said weakly “300 points each?” he squeaked as their points settled at a whopping (5100/5100) making a less then masculine squeak of sheer terror escape Petie’s throat.
“… if I attack your Puddingcess you’d use her power to destroy Trice Megistus… so sorry Petie but…” Ramona sighed and looked away “… Trice Megistus… attack Mewfeuille with Phoenix Fireburst Alignment.” She said weakly as the three sun deities glow brightly with aura of flames… before the fire erupted forth in the shape of a great phoenix and incinerated the pink cat as well as sending Petie tumbling across the carpeted floor as he screamed “… I’m sorry…” Ramona said, still unable to look at him.

The holograms started to fade but the floor literally SHOOK as Rose, Ramona, and even Asteria rushed over to gently prop the crying Petie up and cuddle him, even as all of them shot dirty looks at Puddingcess. “… before you judge remember, I’m a duel spirit. We have different beliefs and ideals then mortals…” she said before looking away “Though I won’t pretend that’s any excuse for what I’ve done. It is truly reprehensible… I can only pray the lesson I wanted to teach got through.” She curtsied softly “If only princesses weren’t supposed to apologize in front of audiences… oh well…” she said as Azhune got up and looked at her “… please leave, I think you’ve done enough.” He said politely as Puddingcess nodded.
“Very well…” and with that she was gone as if she’d been a hologram herself, leaving behind a concerned group of family and friends and a crying Petie in desperate need of a change.

“… and though I’ll admit I did suggest she have you duel to show you your decks weakness if I’d know that sugar coated pain in the tails was going to drag family into this I would have NEVER mentioned it, so once again I’m sincerely and deeply sorry Petie.”
It’d been quite the scene once everyone had finally arrived back. Deciding to save time on the lengthy awkward explanation in person Rose had called Momma in advance and had Ramona explain what’d happen… but it was only after they arrived back with Jules and Anne had Selanine confessed to her part in all of it. Unfortunately Petie was still drastically shaken up despite multiple hugs from Azhune, apologies from Ramona, and Rose and Asteria’s best attempts to calm him. Only after Petie and Jules showed up and hugged him did he start to calm down.
Selanine sat around the living room table as she finished explaining and apologizing to Petie. James, Gwen, and Ramona (who had mostly been bullied into her role and already apologized as much as she could) just looked at Selanine in silence while Rose held the twins and Azhune held Asteria. All the while Petie was cuddling Anne for comfort while she hugged back and Jules made it into a group hug. Selanine sighed, feeling a more than a little guilty as the silence continued for a few minutes more before she broke it.
“Well… it’s not much… but I can try to get her to apologize next time I see her… but don’t hope too much for that…” Selanine said before smiling “Since I did promise to show you around how about I step that up a little? I know it’s not much but it’s the least I can do. I can get you into some places normal guests would never see.” She offered hopefully looking between the adults and Petie. After a moment Petie nodded weakly making her smiled “Wonderful! I’ll give you some time to settle in first though, would you like to start today or tomorrow.”
“Well… if Petie’s up for it we can start a little later, it’s only twelve now…” Momma said, scratching Petie’s ears gently “But there’s not going to be anymore psychotic duel spirits running around is there?” she asked giving Selanine a look as the ninetails chuckled “Oh no, not at all. Perish the though.” She said as Asteria spoke up “But mom, what about Dark Freed?” she asked making Selanine gently shush her “They got rid of him last month sweetie.” She said reassuringly as Azhune piped up next “And Vampire Lord?”
“… he got caught trying to woo a guest so he’s on probation at the moment.”
“Battle Ox?”
“Getting anger management therapy.”
“Ooo! Ooo! Will we meet Dark Magician Girl?” Jules asked as he giggled eagerly before noticing the look on the faces of Selanine and her kids “… what?” he tilted his head in confusion as the ninetails gave him an affectionate ear rub and chuckled nervously “Weeeeeell… you COULD meet her… but…” she trailed off as Asteria spoke up “She’s a spoiled brat!” the vulpix said making Azhune chuckle as his little sister glared up at him “What’s so funny?”
“You still hold a grudge because she beat you, don’t you?”
“DO NOT!!!”
