Not me. But there are a fair number who are. I live in Tucson. It's a pretty unpretentious, peaceful city.

I don't think there's any humor to get. It's just the truth.

In Tucson (as well as most of Arizona), it is legal to carry firearms in public, as long as they are not concealed. Specific Businesses can refuse to serve you if you wear them (since they have the right to refuse service to anyone), but most don't.

Why must almost every character in a slasher/zombie film be a perpetually spineless wimp who can't fire a gun or swing a machete to save their own life?, and not a professional marksman or an accomplished martial artist?

It's like they want to be killed, That it's better to be a victim than a survivor.
