A full body, shaded conbage for Kiba I did for Rocky Mountain Fur Con. Really happy with this one! Quite a lot of work went into it... traditional art is difficult because one little mistake can ruin the whole piece, so I tend to avoid it |D
Prismacolor markers once more! Whoo! Got to have creative freedom with the markings too which I'm totally diggin.

I used a .25mm Micron ink pen for the outlines.
And the shading was all done with the warm gray Prismacolor markers (I think, might have been some cool grays too). They make them by percentages so you'll get things like "10% cool gray" and then 20%, 30%, etc all the way to 90% with the next step up being a pure black. Also colorless blenders can often pick up colors to lighten them. The gray sets are what I primarily use for shading to get all different levels of value since colors can be so limited. Warm for the warmer colors of course so it doesn't muddy them up or dull them too much. I know the Copic markers have a bunch of different grays too and in fact have more variety than the Prismacolor brand. Either brand, they sell them in full gray sets as an option. Hope that helps! And thank you for the compliments!
