i consider pikachu and pichu and raichu to be like meerkat/cat, and figure my anatomy dat way... keeping in mind the ribcage dont collapse much, the width is not going to change alot from sitting,/relax stance to streaching to look over something, at least not without hanging off of something with forepaws, to take up additional slack... and because of raichu's general stance and the type of ankle he has, his legs is not going to completely straighten when he streach, and prolly be spread a little more open...

dat the anatomy i see most often, and the way i draw it too, but is just my opinion so u dont have to draw it dat way, just giving my reason =3

i did not mean for it to sound bad, just for information...
i am sure if i try to draw a dragon, u can give me many things dat i need to change also, since it is what u draw often, u has a much better idea of how it should look like... dat what i was trying to do with the raichu here, so sorry if anything sound bad ^^;

Meerkats and cats are a good base to figure out the anatomy for furry pokemons dat stand upright, just remember to add a little chub and roundness since most of them are chubby =3
actually, i would be consider a skinny pikachu, being 2.5 lbs underweight and 1" below average height ^^;
(i am 11.5lbs, 1'3", the runt hehe =P )
Tehweenus makes a pretty good accurate pikachu, minus the pink hair ^_^
