I went to the pet store to get a hedgehog. They didn't have any at that store and the other one was closed, but...I saw this little guy and I fell in love. He was the youngest, cuddliest, and most playful of all of the rats there! I had to take the little guy home. <3
I named the little guy Sebastian after one of my favorite OC's.
I love him, he's already eating out of my hand and likes to curl up on or against my leg and nap or groom himself. He is four weeks old. :>
Edit: Yes everybody, I am going to get another rat. Lol...

So cute!! I wish I had the money for another pet...I've only ever had rodents in my past but I wish I had the money for various different pets. I once took care of this cute rat and cat (who were best friends) for my step-dad's friend. The both of them were always craving attention, heh, which in a way just makes them cuter.
I would highly recommend it, its really not that much extra C: I had 2, then another 2 more xD
They are really sociable animals and it would benefit the little tyke to have a friend, even perhaps from the same group at that store? Definitely do it sooner than later as males are hard to introduce to other males later on in life :3

Aww, He is so cute >w< I have baby girls. Stormi and Rena. I got them about 4 weeks when i got them back in Feb. They grow to be so big but still sweet. Watch the claws though then you hold them when they grow older they can get pretty sharp. My arm looks like a kitty scratching post. Careful not to make him to fat, my sister did that to the girls, and the rat we had before them.
Congrats, youve joined the rattie crew! :D Youll get addicted though and get more and more, Ive 17 myself! (had way more just till recently!) Theres so many different breeds and coats, Ive a naked, a few himalayan, a few dumbo, some others and have had a few more types in the past! ^^
