This is a piece I did fifteen years ago -- ow! That was when I thought I had the luxury (or had the energy) to ink elaborate compositions with loads of discrete detail. Ken Fletcher (Heywulf) played patron of the arts, in this case, and inspired me in a way to try to match his flare for goofy vehicles and exotic locales. I may have succeeded well enough with the locale, but I just can't seem to help having a realistic approach to technology!

As for who the ship is named for, shame on you if you don't know who Natty Bumppo is! He was the first superstar fictional character in American literature. You know how to get to Google... go!
