Oh, well in most of them, there werent anything more than the heads and the upper torso. So I didnt have a lot to go off of.

One thing Id recomend though is upping the contrast once theyre scanned, or inking.

Yeah, that would probably help a lot. I have no idea how my scanning program works, so I should just play around with it

Then Im not sure what to tell you as thats what Im familiar with and I use it to up the contrast on my work.

Perhaps try inking something after youre done drawing it?

Sure, that sounds reasonable. I'm not necessarily opposed to getting Photoshop, but the only way I'm going to be able to get it is illegally >.>
