I like to try to piece together my own family history sometimes because it can give me ideas about the background of the twins. Here's Ian sporting the family crest of his Grandfather's clan on his mother's side.
Points to anyone that can guess the clan. The banner above his head is a clue since it's the clan's motto. Never behind, which is an ideal Ian tends to strive for as he gets older.
He doesn't look too happy because he's pretty much spurned by the clan because of the fact he's a hybrid and he carries what many of them call a cursed gift. They only barely put up with his sister because she carries the blood mark and has a once in a century family trait as well as being a direct decendant of the current clan head.
