I have a question.
(Preface this with I'm not trying to be rude, just asking as someone who is fairly new to suiting)
The fur on several of the suits looks kind of stringy, is this just the nature of the fur used? or is it from usage/age/washing?
At AC I saw several suits who seemed to have the same look, curios if its a fur brand/style or what.

Unfortunately its from not brushing/washing the suit so it gets stringy and matted looking, that type of fur is super smooth, soft, and silky when freshly washed or brand new.
A lot of furries don't know how to take care of their suits! =(
Of course, in this picture, it could just be wear from the con itself and they took care of it after the con, who knows? I know I personally brush my suits after every wear to keep them looking great and to keep the fur fibers in the best shape possible.

Just spotted this comment now (5 months late but still <_< ) and I'm guessing it's probably about my suit in this photo ^_^;; I'd just like to say that I take the best care of Ári and I had been doing my best to ensure that his fur was brushed neatly at the start of and at the end of each day of the con. Unfortunately, this photo was taken after the fursuit walk... After I had been suiting a lot on the same day. Which meant lots of hugs, lots of flailing around and lots of general unintentional messing up of the fur x.x So yea, my fuzz really looks pretty scruffy in the photo there, but I guess it just goes to show how much fun I had from when I put the suit on up until that point =D Right? >.> Perhaps I should hire someone to run around after me and make sure I'm always brushed and looking pretty ^_____^
