Introducing two of my original Redwall characters, Aaron, in green, and Ilona, in red. The two are close friends, and future mates in their lives.
This scene pictures the two shortly after they had met, and Ilona's recalling the death of her family, who were killed and eaten by an owl, and how she's the only remaining member of her family. Aaron wants to share her pain, but he has never lost anyone close to him, much less remember his own family, as he's been a wandering orphan for as long as he can remember.
