Got a photography book full of modeled images for artists to study, it's one of the better ones I've seen. Started drawing wire frames of the poses, got out five of those before moving on to do a shaded body off one with no details on the head. Then I closed it and drew this.
I'm actually amazed with this one because I've never been able to get detail lines like I did on this one well enough to make me happy. Those being the ones on her neck, collarbone and belly/hips there.
I'm getting confident in the polish this style is giving me since it felt like the picture was drawing itself and my hand was along for the ride.
I'm getting her proportions fairly uniform now when I try drawing her like this too now.
I'm planning on cleaning this up, digi-inking it and coloring later.

If you can't tell this is Lil in her human incarnation. Ah, the fun shapeshifters can have. Her adventures across realities are all mapped out in my head already, so I have her full wardrobe in my mind, including the Hot Topic apparel worshiping Invader Zim, JTHM and Squee. Even a few Tinkerbell anointed pieces of clothing.
I need to do a write-up of her original world and the fact there's humans and furs there. That and how screwed up her life is on some levels before she started traveling.
