True story of mee life.
Back in 2009 my folks were extremely bored so they went for a walk at the park In the North Atlanta area. I was inn school at the time and we were renting a lil' apartment struggling to survive after the 2008 economy crisis.
So that day I opened the door and the two of 'em were sitting the the couch growing to the sides staring at me rather than to the TV screen.
I was gon' ask when I saw these two fur-balls on the carpet, a gorgeous little yellow bunny and a much bigger grey one.
-ain't they just cute said mom. n dad mumbled somfin' with a grin.
--..............What the hell are those things?! where did they come from, why are they here and what are ya gon' do with them piss n' poop machines?
---You gon' wash the carpet you know.
to cut to the chase they found in the park eating grass and my dad just got close bent and picked them up and shove them in the van. No struggle of any sort.
- We can cook them- he said.
---I don't wanna eat no bunny .... someone didn't want them no more so they drooped them at the park, man you really need a Hobby.

I tryed to pick the cute yellow one and the moment my hand got with in 6 inches of the thing it hunched its ears back and jump mouth open and bit me. Turns out some one turned them into Pitbull-bunnies, incredibly aggressive. I had to wear a glove to take them outside to the shed were we put them and did they make a dam hole to it. 30 feet and I had a hole in my work glove.
Year latter I came back from work hungry n tried and dad had made Quails in some type of sauce. we all sat down and eat the so called quails. - these are very tough, you only bought two?
It took me two more months to realize the bunnies were gone .....

I...would vomit...a lot, if that happened to me. Yes i am a bunny but no i don't feel offended by the pic (it's rather funny...if slightly disturbing)
i just...bunnies aren't for eating they're wonderful sweet little pets or natural wild animals that need to be left alone! D: (i work at Petco...i have trouble letting people by feeder mice)
and if somebody tricked me into eating one...god i would be pissed...like never talking to my dad ever again pissed.

"man look at all that meat" One time he picked mushrooms from the lawn. they were big puffy and bleeding this purple thing. I told him that that was an incredibly stupid Idea. Boy was he mad after that dam old fool wanted to him me.
And I'm upset cuz of that. Specially because he makes fun of it when ever he can.

To feel better, I'd like to think the bunny (or bunnies since there is a box of 12) are going to be fed grilled carrota.

want to think something cute. Imagine those 12 bunnies running happily all over the lawn and mr fox is making a delicious meal of carrots for them. because they are enjoying a beautiful summer afternoon. with cheerful music and soda pop :) and you are invited to have fun as well

Well I work in rabbit fostering and rescuing, all of them get scared like that when left out there.
as sad as it is, i get it, things happen out of our control when were kids, even things that are traumatizing.
But that doesn't bother you? idk, if something like that happened to me, I cant imagine ever being able to make fan art of it

*shudders* No this is not Fan art of that experience It was NOT pleasant going to the back of house to feed the rabbits just to realize they were gone. I though they had managed to escape or got eaten by a yote, But finally it began sinking in as to why my pops was grinning so much when we had the so called "quails"

Did it bother me? well yea. still does and its been like ten years. Originally I just wanted to go back to the park and let them go. but these animals were house raised they didn't quite fear people and didn't exactly hide. easy prey for hawks or even cats, and yet a worse faith they had... xC
