RIP Phyllis Diller
Phyllis Diller quietly passed away today in her sleep. Best known for her cacckle of a laugh and willing to make fun of herself and her husband, Fang.
Phyllis could make anybody laugh and was a fixture on plenty of comedy shows and films. Bob Hope got her into motion pictures and from there often traveled with Bob on USO Tours.
Her wild hair and dresses were also a fixture of her. I hate to admit it, she's a tough one to draw!

Nice tribute! She always made me laugh. I loved her appearances on the Scooby Doo Movies. Glad to hear that she was still very sharp right up to the end. And yeah, it's sad to see yet another of the greats leave us. Really a different generation of actors and I do miss them.
Yep she was one of the greats that made this place a lot brighter for having been here.
She did things with her own style and always with class, she was a hard act to fallow, even Bob Hope said that about her. Today's actors could learn a lot from her to say nothing of many of today's comics.

I'll certinly miss her too. I so remember her on Laugh-in, Dean Martin's shows, the movies, with the great Bob Hope. Gods has it been THAT long? I so miss the great ones anymore. I need to raid ny DVD collection for such fun as 'Robin and the 7 hoods' (Mr. Booze!), 'The great lover' and who knows what else?
Lets face it, even the youngn's are saying the same. There is NO one like the original greats.

I wish I could learn from her...
But all the dicks I work with are just a bunch of knuckledragging neanderthals who wouldn't know funny if it bit them on the ass, but are more than willing to crack any dirty joke about screwing a woman they can slap together with their lips...
