Camouflage is a defense mechanism that I think this horse is trying to learn. Hide in his bedding so the evil predators don't get him. And maybe avoid having to get out and work. ;)

Awwww... I love the way sleeping horses look
But is there cold? Why is he in horse-cloth?

I'm not sure what the temperature was in C but it was about 65F
Possible reasons hes in the blanket that Ive been told:
Keeping winter coat from growing out.
Keeping them cleaner while in there stall at night during shows.
Keeping them warm after a full body shave.
