Any one scene a brand like this? Shes got the normal hip brand. But shes also got 4 numbers on the back of her buttucks, you can see 2 of em here. They really stand out beter in the photo then the did to the eye. Thought she had just been rubbing her rump a lot.

Well, I don't really know about USA. In Russia our horses have four numbers on withers like here

Every breed has a book in which every horse of this breed is registered. For example there is "Thoroughbred stud book"
Actually it's a number of horse in this book, and it's unique.
I guess it's the same thing, but I'm really surprised about it's location 8o
Hip brand usually it's an information about farm or stud-farm or country, where this hors was born, or where it lives.
In Russia this kind of branding is just tradition not necessity
