Etu'un, my Mindsquito character, drawn by the beautiful, kind and talented  foxmad :) Etu'un is a unique creature and, as far as I know, of my own creation. Unlike mosquitoes, a Mindsquito doesn't feed on any sort of bodily fluids - at least, he doesn't ~need~ to, wink wink nudge nudge. He feeds on thoughts, feelings, and memories from those he makes physical contact with.

When Etu'un touches somebody and wishes to feed, a rainbow-colored dust will be left on their body as well as his as he absorbs mental energy from his 'prey'. Very little is known about this process, and even less about how his body actually converts that mental energy into a physical form that his body can digest.

Now, this may seem like a scary concept, but fear not, Etu'un's feeding is completely painless and the memories taken always return within the hour - usually.

You may be asking "How can he be a mosquito without a proboscis?" [That's the little needly bit they stick you with] well worry not friends, Etu'un does have a proboscis, it just happens to be flaccid most of the time. That's right, it's his nose, which is really just for show most of the time, but in situations of dire need, it firms up to a razor-like point which he can stab with. He's only had the need to use this ability twice, and both times not only did he get a feast, but he put his attackers into a coma from which they awoke weeks later with no memory of their past lives. Instead, Etu'un not only took their memories, but implanted new ones in them, changing their entire upbringing and personality to make them both better, kinder people.

Why would anyone attack a Mindsquito? Because he's different, of course. Some humans, what're you gonna do, right? Etu'un also has another neat ability that ties in with the rainbow colors in his wings and eyes. When he locks eyes with someone and beats his wings, the colors begin to swirl and meld into visions and hallucinations which he can tailor to the person he's hypnotizing to create various 'flavors' of thoughts and feelings depending on what his tastes are at the time.

Etu'un has a rather relaxed outlook on life, and lives a pretty comfortable life as well, being the owner of a very lucrative strip club, and with his hypnotic abilities he does very well when he decides to put on a show himself as well.

Etu'un is one of my more rarely used RP characters, and I'd love to get some more use out of him, so if you'd like to spend some time with Etu'un, hit me up some time :)
