So Nyeah!
True Story: When I was very little, I was a loser. Even back in Kindergarten, I was bookish and shy, and I knew nothing about all these Transformers and My Little Ponies that my classmates loved so much. I also owned a pair of jeans with brightly colored flowers embroidered around the cuffs, which were a hand-me-down from an older cousin and which simply screamed 1970. Which might not have been such a problem if I hadn't been wearing them in 1985. But all I knew was they were my favorite thing in all the world and I was on top of the world when I wore them, no matter how many times I got beat into the ground.
I still have those old floweredy pants, tucked carefully away in a box, and you know what? I still think they're just the coolest pants in the world!

That's very kind of you to say, but I kinda was. In all fairness, I was an antisocial little bitch at that age, and I didn't give a damn about making friends, so I suppose it could be argued that I wasn't totally without fault. I can't say I ever enjoyed getting my ass beat, though!
nope.... you would would have been the person I would have been hanging out with all the time in school, I hung out with the "misfits", "oddballs", "losers" and "weirdos" all my life, still do, for more interesting and kind than most of the other even just "normal" kids, much less the popuderp kids -_- biggest douche bags ever... though some of them have changed over the years, but not enough to change my overall opinion of the popular group... >_>
Aww. I wish I'd known you back then, I think you and I would have been good friends, and it certainly would have helped me through some of those awkward years. To be fair, I was rather anti-social as a kid, and I didn't really try to make friend with most of my classmates, but I think you and I would have gotten along very well.
Haha, I know the feeling of being the odd kid.
In elementary I was the kid who always toted around a stuffed animal, wore the hand-me-downs of my older male cousin, and had my nose buried in a book.
Not much has changed, I still wear "boys" clothes and have my nose stuffed in a book. I just keep my plushies at home now. =P

Aww. *Snuggles* You're too sweet. I wouldn't have called myself a loser, either, but that's how the social dynamics fell down when I was little. But I'm glad you don't think that!
It is an adorable picture, though, I definitely agree. Kay did a wonderful job with it, and it is nice to get a picture of Megan as a child at last, too. I can't help but think she's adorable like this.

I was never 'in' with the 'in crowd' at school, but I had lots of friends and we were our own in crowd. We thought we were even cooler than what we called the soshes (for socialites) cause they always had their noses stuck up in the air and we were just normal (?) kids doing our thing.
