Thought I’d show some of my character designs that I have just completed for my most recent assessment. :) This is the final expression sheet and turn around for Sabre the fat Koala. He is the main villain in my story "The last Thylacine", and the only native villain.

I am rather proud of him, as I really don’t like Koalas, so have never bothered to learn their anatomy. Strangely enough, I found him the easiest to draw xD

While simple looking I find character turn arounds extremely challenging. As the main focus is not just on solid design, but on keeping proportions clear and understandable from all angles
