To some people having dead animal heads on walls or bodies mounted in a room is disgusting and fucked up.
To some people having a scarf made of minks is disgusting and fucked up.
To some people having bits of animal fur on the edge of a hood of a coat is disgusting and fucked up.
To some people eating animals is disgusting and fucked up.
Either way its not too much different except that this one will be used and appreciated more. Everyone has different tastes. To me this is not something fucked up but rather kind of neat.
If you dont like it or dont agree with it then dont look. Its not hurting anyone or anything(well except the coyote at one point but I dont know his history and he may have been roadkill for all I know) so their should be no point in calling someone fucked up over different views on a subject. You can disagree with it but no need to call names.

To each their own on eating animals and clothing yourself with them. The dressing up a taxidermy animal i just think its fucking creepy and disrespectful. If you're playing dress up with a corpse something is wrong with you.
And I'll leave off on that not cause I don't deal with freaks~

Don't like it don't comment in the first place.
We like this, its cool if you don't but I could really care less abut hearing how you don't like it.
Remember in school when we were told "If you don't have something nice to say then say nothing at all"?
Well that goes on in your adult life as well.
Its best to just keep rude and negative shit to ones self.
Because in the end, you just end up looking silly, and we keep having fun.

I support you. If you do not want multi sided debate you aught not post. Its morally wrong to ask for others to silence their opinion to conform with a thread topic. Free debate is energetic and regretable necessary . However you should validate your position beyond just gross. Your reasoning would help
.
But FYI: it might be more advisable to walk away. This is a no win conversation.
Take care

What the hot fuck are you talking about? First off, this is a coyote. Secondly I've skinned an animal myself, I know a bit about it. And I'd like to say from experience you CAN'T skin a live animal. You simply can't. The blood would flow everywhere, getting all over the fur and not allowing you to see what you are doing. Not to mention that the animal would be kicking, screaming, moving all around making it impossible to do any skilled work what-so-ever.
The stomach is also not opened when you're skinning an animal. You'd have to cut through the muscle to open the cavity to allow it to disembowel. That being said there would be no point in doing that to an animal unless you were going to eat it. It creates a LOT of smell- not something you want to focus on when skinning- and makes a huge mess everywhere.
I know what PETA video you watched, I'm pretty sure all animal lovers have seen it at some point. I myself saw it over 10 years ago. The image of the skinned dog shaking it's head before slowly dying on the pile of other skinned canines. Tragic, but very outdated. And as I said, knowing what I know now, I would say it's damn near impossible to skin a live animal.
And how is taxidermy sexual? xD When was anyone saying anything about Phobia being a sexual object in any way, shape, or form? She's in a loving home and was made and treated with the upmost care. I know because I made her personally. I handed her off to her owner and saw the excitement and love in her eyes.
But no, do remember, Phobia is a COYOTE. A population control animal. She was caught with a rubber trap and dispatched with a single shot to the head. After that she was respected and allowed to live on. Nothing about you blaming China for killing dogs decades ago. Let alone dog fighting? Do try to keep a coherent flow of thought when trying to make an argument. She didn't ask for opinions, she simply put up a photo of her new pet.

Somehow dressing up a skin of an animal is disrespectful? It doesnt have a soul and I doubt the soul would be stuck to some flesh and fur. What is disrespectful is the ways many animals used for food are raised and killed. Set your sights elsewhere, this is nothing compared to the blasphemies this world creates. This is nothing more than a doll, the only difference is that it is made with real animal skin rather than faux fur.
If you had nothing nice to say why say it unless you wanted to start something?

Wow... I just saw all this.
I'm sorry you find me to be a "freak."
I bought her a collar because she's a canine.
The muzzle looks cool to me aesthetically, but also hides the flaws around the mouth area because Flashback couldn't rehydrate the pelt properly.
There's nothing fetish or sexual about this. I'm now allowed to dress her up because she's dead? She's some fucking fur around a form. :V

I love dead things, ive got quite the collection myself. Kudos to the taxidermist they did a great job on the mount, i actually though it was a real coyote from the thumbnail image lol. Im hoping i can manage to get a roadkilled yote thins coming winter, ive been wanting to try self tanning a yote pelt to hang on my wall. Is the skin soft or is it tough? just wondering as whenever i manage to get on ill know what to expect when i start trying to break down the fibers in the hide.
Was taking a look through your gallery, I can't say this stuff interests me at the same time it makes me a little curious, to see something like this, I give you kudos. I personally am not into the taxidermy stuff but this does look cute, and going through some of your gallery it's not that I don't like taxidermy it's just not my cup of tea, but seeing some of your works of art kind of makes me a lot more curious than I was before.
Don't let all the haters get you down.. :3 what you do is restoring life to an animal that has left it's body and moved on to the after life, you are only preserving its beauty to the body that it has left. I really do like what you have done here. To each is there own when it comes to people hating on stuff like this, some people are just very close minded towards this type of stuff.
I applaud you!
