Well then maybe it would be wise to not make someone feel worse by making it feel as if they are being laughed at when it is obvious they are in an ill state of mind when you comment.

I believe there is a saying that goes "Treat others as you would be treated." I wouldn't sit there and make you feel worse because of a bad day. I would appreciate if I were given the same respect in the future.
