Hi guys,

I realise it's been absolutely ages since I updated this story, and yet I have still failed to produce the illustration for this chapter! I know what it should be, I've just gotten tied up in also knowing what the next chapter's illustration should be, and that's far more interesting so it's distracting me xD

Interestingly, from this point onwards I'm moving more and more into territory which I haven't really got mapped out so well. To date I've been running off some rather old drafts I almost abandoned, but that material is getting more rarified as we go on. Shall the adventure continue without hiccup? We shall see...

Anyhoo, for the meantime, here is the text-only version of this chapter. Feedback and critique is always welcome.
