The first costume, Frankenhippo, was an obvious choice since Kevin's human had once dressed up as Hermann Munster for Hallowe'en.
And ya can't say ''Frankenstein'' without thinking ''Dracula''...so the second costume was also pretty simple to think up. This costume quickly became the fursonality ''Count Hippotaur'' and has since come to life with musical submissions and in role playing. Kevin's original ear style was used for Count Hippotaur's bat-like vampire ears.
After thinking these two up...I asked Lance feathery what other costumes I should make. He immediately said ''Pirate'', and then he suggested ''make one with cigars out his nose and a dunce hat on with lightbulbs as eyes''.
So the pirate hippo got slashed up pretty badly...one slice getting his hat, his ear, his eye, his nostril, and his tooth! Of course feathery is the parrott on his shoulder in pirate leggings.
The dunce hippo came out as silly as Lance's description sounded...and since he had been buggin; me for awhile to have Kevin's tongue stick out of his ear...I added that as well!
So those were the original four costumes...but once October came along and I got more in the Hallowe'en spirit...I just had to make a Borg Drone costume as well! That was another costume that Kevin's human had dressed up in for several Hallowe'ens.
