"Hey, he caught me before I hit the ground," Alain reassured her, "and rocked me back to sleep in his arms."

This is an rough illustration to go with my Alain/Julie story. Actually, I've gotten the idea that once I've finished writing it in long form, the overall story can be distilled into a childrens' book! This could be an early illustration (redone by a better visual artist of course), with baby Alain getting inducted to hockey fandom. This is actually based on a true story I remember about a hockey player who had his baby asleep on his chest and woke it up just like this lol
I had to include the third part there so it was clear he's alright. It's funny, but would this be too disturbing for a child?

Also, if I ever draw a comic book, it'll have to be set in a world where everyone has the power to randomly gain and lose weight XD
