In ze hard und unrelenting vurld of nature, ze ceaseless struggle for survival cointinues. Here, in a colony of sea lions, ve see a huge booll sea lion seeing off an intruding booll who is attempting to intrude on his hareem. Zis pettern of aggressive behaviour is typical of zese documentaries.
So, a few weeks ago, my family and I went to Alcatraz for the night tour, which was cool. We stopped off at Pier 39 (bringing my total visits to that tourist trap up to four) and got to see a few of the sea lions who were visiting. Pretty things, aren't they? When they're in season, all of those docks will be covered in resting sea lions, taking advantage of the smooth currents in this part of the harbor and lack of major predators.
Also, if you know where that quote at the start came from, you get a(n imaginary) cookie.
