Back in the day... a little more than ten years ago now (EEP!) I used to be really big in the Lion King fandom, and wrote scads of short stories (mostly parodies, and overall hilarious pieces). But then, like most things in life, time moved on... I went to college for six freakin' years, and bills, and jobs kept me busy. But after I graduated, I could finally have a breather, and I got all nostalgic. "What the heck," I mused, "Why not get back into the fandom?" But I wouldn't be Rindimo Cheetah if I didn't make some rediculous, grandiose entrance. So that is what I did. I wrote this huge story, and sent it off in chunks to the ol' TLK-L mailing list detailing the return of Rindimo Cheetah to the Pridelands. I pretty much preserved the story in those "Chunks" here on FA for posterity's sake, I suppose. The sad part is the list just isn't what it used to be, but there's still a bunch of familiar faces that were at first quite alarmed to see "Doomsday" as a subject in their email. Ha ha! for a guy that lived out in the middle of nowhere, those people and discussions on the TLK-L were some of the best times I ever spent on a computer, and I wouldn't be the person I am... today... Hrm... I wonder if I could have been a better person had I not? LOL, You guys will always rule in my book no matter what!
