I was sitting with Kate one day when I suddenly thought, "Hey, I bet Tazzle's name sounds spiffy in Japanese!" She then opened her arms wide and exclaimed, "Tazz'ru-San!" So Tazzle got a new nickname out of that. 8D

On my quest to learn to draw in as many styles as possible, I've fallen in love with detailed digital shading again. But gosh, it's been years since I've done it, and even with the convenience of a tablet it takes so long! I spent four days on and off working on Tazzle. She's almost done. I want to spiffy up the shading on her fur a little more, add highlights to the skateboard, etc. But I'm happy enough to go ahead and post her--I'll update this image with the final later.

I don't skateboard myself. But I wish I could. And FYI I got Reign to take at least four photos of me propping up a container lid(the impromptu skateboard) because I doodled up the PERFECT pose for Tazzle's character and wanted to make sure I was drawing it right. I fell over a couple times because I was balancing on one leg and don't have a tail to lean on like Tazzle here. :P
