My style of Batty Koda for FERNGULLY: Subsistence in Shock. Also with a bad picture of the origional I drew by a memory I had of him when I saw him as a toddler. He inspired me the be the grade A nut case I am today. I just recently found out where all my kooky manerisms and personality come from. Robin Williams!!
**Batty Koda was captured by scientists and put in a laboratory, where he was equipped with a tracking device.. But there must have been more to it than that to make him the way he is now. In this picture you can clearly see a great scar flowing down his entire torso; this came to be when doctors cut him open to observe all things there is to see in a bat, as with any disection, but they got a bit too curious wanted to see just what the limits of life were. They wanted to modify the creature, bipassing evolution, possibly, so they added bone hardeners, steroids, a fast blood clotting serum, artificial organs for extra functions in digestion and some substances they didn't even know what where, they were just told to inject them into parts like the heart and put him back together.. Sounds like a cross between Frankenstein and Space Marines. There was no anethstetic for small mammals in the lab, so when he awoke from death, he thought he was in Hell. He was, in a sense. A tracking device was shot into his left brow by a staple gun-like device. More hellish pain! The scientists began to test his true endurence when they clamped electrodes to him, nearly electricuting him. He was placed in a damn oven!! Frozen!! They even tried to smash him in a vice! No one in that lab was sane!!! At this point, he was mightier than man. If a man went through what he did, he would be a black frozen crepe. The doctors where about to shake hands before they realized they created something that should not exist, this was true, but it was too late. You cannot kill him now. Koda heard the men talking of murder.. That was when "RAGE" was first used. He forced amplified electricity from his brain through it's opening in the tracking device; causing it to malfuction; A signal could no longer be picked up by their radios, but Koda could detect them. Great streaks of static engulfed the bat's 8.5" godlike body and he got close enough to she scientists to torture, electricute, and burn them as they did to him. Still in Hell, Koda became Satan, taking control and torturing the souls that once did the same to him. After killing the men, he blasted through a narrow window of the lab, alarms roaring, and headed for the forest.
**Phwew! There's the story opener right there! Now to go over his abilities and I'm done
Though He's supposedly a fruit bat, he has very very sharp [white] teeth. So he can bite like other bats.
He has but one claw, but beware! 'nough said!
My version has longer legs, so he can kick like a mule.. In hemp pants!!!
Lightening slap is more of a punch with wings... it's a slap then. With his electricity power.
Shick wing is similar. He flaps his wings and electricity flies outward toward the.. flapee.
Rage*** I'll get to that!
Electroshield is self-explanitory
Overwing is effective as his wings are stronger now
His roar alone can keep evil away.
***Rage is the most messed up attack mode in any comic/game/movie. Electricity surges through his body stiffening his muscles. Eyes blazing he roars. If you are on the recieving end of this aperture, your preception of reality is skewed. Your vision goes black and comes back discoloured and distorted continuoisly. You feel thigs crashing into you that are not there. You burn. You freeze. You feel your blood vessels bursting and fall to the ground coughing up blood and convulsing. Your body is a perferated gelatinous meatloaf.
Did I mention really strong hemp pants?
