Lets do this :D
Kandi could be bracelets, necklaces, headbands, cuffs, all made from chunky beads. Pony beads, colorful beads, plushy animals, sometimes have attachments, such as pacifiers. Given away at raves, or elsewhere, by people who live by PLUR. Wonderful forms of friendship and kandi is a great way to create lasting memories.
Basically, Kandi is a friendship bracelet. When going to a public place (such as a rave-- since you'll see them mostly there BUT it can be traded anywhere, I do sometimes at Cons and at Furry Meetups.) Kandi kids will wear the Kandi to trade.
Have you ever gotten something from a place you have gone to? Such as a park, mall, gathering, con, ect-- And you look at it and remember the feeling-place-a memory. That's what Kandi is. A bracelet that you trade to make a friendship, and to make a memory. You look back on a piece and recall the time, place, and memory-- hell even the person.
Kandi is made up of beads, mostly Pony beads that you can find at walmart, Joann's, or Micheal's in the crafting section. People get super creative with it, and make some amazing things.
You also use elastic string, also found in the craft section.
PLUR:
P= peace
L= love
U= unity
R= respect
it started up in the rave scene/culture. dj frankie bones was believed to have started PLUR after a fight started while his was deejayin. he said "If you don't start showing some peace, love, and unity, I'll break your fucking faces." then respect was added later.
It's what Most ravers live by. In simple, treat each-other well.
Kandi Kid:
A Kandi kid is the kid you see in the bright colors, bracelets going up his or her arm to the elbows or more, dancing wildly, and having a wonderful time. Kandi kids can be the life of a party; as they are the colors of the world (most of them would say c:) Most have a very positive attitude, and they show it through their clothing.

Trading Kandi:
Kandi can be traded in person, and through the mail.
When one trades kandi, they discuss what they want to trade. A few singles? Cuffs? a random amount of things? It depends.
The same goes for trades over mail. They talk about the trade, and one sends the trade; once it is gotten, they send out their end.
I know there is more, and I bet I'm leaving things out D: If you got questions, feel free to ask. I don't think I said this well enough XD;

hmmm.
the crippling thing here is that if you have none, trading options are rather closed. I dont have the money or time to attending anything besides work so ive missed out on this for the most part. Though I might be able to make little plushies that others could use as kandi charms... -thoughtful-
