My first fursuit was actually my Wookiee suit I made back in 1995 when I first got into the furry fandom (no pics). Then I got into the art and didn't do much with suiting till about 6 years ago. I designed Tauntaun and had him built by Arand Studios and worked with a friend to make Dodger: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1814526/
I worked with another friend to make Mal the bear: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/296806/
and finally learned enough about making fursuits to make my own full versions:
