A cipactli priest cautiously enters a shallow, swamp-like lake as he tries to reach his city before his enemies find him.

"Cipactli" is the nahuatl (aka, aztec) word for "crocodile". But rather than draw just a croc, I tried to draw him almost as if it were a real creature, somewhat based on an actual aztec drawing.
I have fondness for Aztec mythology, with Quetzalcoatl/Kukulcan being my favorite of the pantheon. (My lord Sobek has nothing to worry about, though.) The cipactli's garments were drawn from memory, so odds are they are way off, so my apologies to anyone native from the area.
