Yet I can't close my eyes through the fall of tears, I can't see my blood, for it's far too muddled with sorrow. I'm the immortal you fear, I'm the killer you shun, I've been the shadows, I've seen your torment and despite what you thought I was, I felt your anguish.
I cried with you, I felt the shards of time etching themselves against your frail figure, and I felt your pain. You will never know how much the monster cares, almost always more than you'd fear, for always the world comes before the beast.
I plead more than I will let you know, I fear more than you would ever imagine, I'm as frail if not more than your misguided self. Just please, for one cold winters eve, please listen to this monstrosity.. Just listen..
