My third design for the Mighty Fine Marvel Villains tshirt design contest. I completed this one fastest and it's my least favorite. This is the villain Dark Phoenix, who is Jean Grey when she goes insane or something; when I came up with the design I just wanted to draw a fat, cute bird.
Consequently, this was the only one of my three designs that made it to voting. The other quickie disappeared between being accepted by Mighty Fine and Marvel design approval. The best one, that I spent days on, wasn't approved by Marvel for some reason.
